Issue resolved
This just wasn't a good shape for me to start with
Original problem
Cups too small, wings too high- my question here is about filling the bottom of the cup. Am I not filling the bottom? Is this how it is supposed to look?

helpfulThis looks like a clear case of "so many things wrong it's hard to tell what's causing the most problems!" So, no this is not how it's supposed to look.
The base of the cup is the least of your concerns really. The cup volume is technically more than enough for you except that a very good portion of that cup space is totally wasted as it is located on your side (where you have little to no tissue) instead of on the front of your body where you need it.
The band is at least 1 size too big I would say. It is riding up at the back and the only reason you're getting any lift is because you've tightened the straps quite a lot. But this means the whole bra is being tilted forward, with the full weight of your breasts pulling the bra down and forward, preventing the gore from tacking while your shoulders are strained and the bra band rides up at the back.
How does your Jasmine fit?

ok yes I took a look at the Jasmine. It definitely is a better match for your shape than this one, and I agree sister sizing down to a 36 could work much better.

helpfulThe cups and wires look too wide for you. Depth looks good, I think you are fairly projected, and narrow. Polish brands have narrower wires. The wire should be sitting in your IMF, the crease at the bottom and sides of the breast. Sorry if I am scattered, I'm really tired.

I've now added pics of the Jasmine- it is the best fitting of any bra I've had in years and even it isn't quite right- I honestly had no idea until last year that bras were made in my cup size, isn't that sad!? You mentioned that I need narrower cups- I do think my breasts are "long" and narrow- if measured on the underside I measure 8" from imf to nipple. The band is not quite snug enough on the Jasmine and perhaps if I went down a sister size it would no longer ride up into my armpits? The gore did lay flat when I first got the Jasmine but doesn't quite now at the top- and the bra is stretched out due to overuse I'm sure. So I'm looking at trying several bras with narrower wires and a 36 band- I found a list of bras sorted by wire width, but if you have any other recommendations I'd be really grateful. wendybien
