Bra fitting help » Should I try a larger cup or just give up on this style?
Impimi » Kler » 75H 34:8
Issue resolved
Going to try the 75I. For science.
Original problem
This bra feels too small in the cups. The gore almost tacks when standing but floats away from my chest when leaning. The wires feel too narrow because my tissue escapes from inside the wires at the sides.
I bought a 75H - Impimi » Adell at the same time as this one. The wires on that one are exactly the same size and shape as on this bra, but everything seems to stay put.
I think the problem with this Kler is that it is not deep enough at the apex for me. Should I exchange it for a 75I or get another Adell in beige?

helpfulI feel that going 1 cup volume up in this bra would help in some ways, but not others. 75I would have broader wires and be more projected. On the other hand, it still wouldn't have close together cups. The cup separation on this bra is 0.8" so try looking for bras where the cup separation is 0.7" or smaller. I see a lot of bras in your size range on bratabase where the cup separation is in the 0.3" to 0.7" range.

The way I figure out whether a bra is all-around too small or just the wrong shape is this: if I think everything is too small to an equal degree (wires too narrow, cup too short, lack of all around projection) then it's probably a too-small cup. If a bra is the wrong shape, it'll be way too small in some aspects but not too small in others.
Thanks for your response!
I'm not at all worried about the cup separation because that's an easy alteration. I've done it on several of my bras.
Mostly I'm trying to figure out if the larger cup will still still fit poorly because of a shape mismatch. I'm going to send this one back to Impimi. It wasn't very expensive and I really need a beige bra right now so that's why I'm thinking exchange.
