Bra fitting help » My first Ewa michalak bra! Cup is a bit big.
Ewa Michalak » Chp Orchidea (302) » 75F 34:7
Bought this from jennyanni and was so excited to try my first polish bra! It was listed as a 75F chp. Where do I go from here as far as polish bra size goes? The band is a good fit but I don't fill the cup at the top.

helpfulHmmm....That gore is too wide and has one of your breasts (right) pinned down. For me, narrowing Ewa Michalak gores from top to bottom helped, but also opened the cup more. When my breast is tethered by the gore wires, I don't receive much lift.
You may have short roots. Or, have you measured your waist position? Thanks to another Bratabase user, I discovered I'm short-waisted which often yields short roots. http://www.parisciel.com/blog/en/how-to-determine-short-waisted-long-waisted-balanced/#.WLZWkXpMHMI
Ewa's CHP cups fit me similarly. However, Gorsenia's padded half cups don't gap near the top on me. But, the Gorsenia half cup's gore is also too wide. When you gently support your breasts with your hands, how much space exists between your breasts? Do you have space for two wires? Here is a fantastic resource created by one of Bratabase members:

How is your comfort in this bra? Can you wear this for the time you require without wanting to rip it off? I can't tolerate wires on my tissue anywhere. However, others report it is comfortable. Obviously, if you can tolerate wires on your tissue, there are many options. If not, the list becomes short....very short like the gore you need ;-)

helpfulProvided that you do not feel that the straps are too wide set, you should be able to find an EM style that fits. The SM is more closed on top and the BM usually has stretch lace on top. The S has a slightly narrower gore (usually) and you might like the SF as a stiffer "padded" bra with an unpadded shape like the SM. I can't wear plunges, so I can't talk about those.

The straps feel fine. Do they look too wide? I'm short rooted, fob, immediately projected and these wires are a perfect width so what would you suggest I try next? As I mentioned in the above comment, my breasts touch when gently hand supported so gore width is definitely an issue!

Same as Love4Pollinators - how does it feel? I have centre gores sitting on my tissue all the time and it almost never bothers me. Some people can't stand it. I think if it was an issue for you, you would notice pretty quickly.
If you don't mind the gore, and the straps feel good (mine dig in my armpits - EM is bad for that on narrower torsos and in smaller bands, but you look fine), then I would try either an SM or a BM.
As to size, I'd stick with the 75 as their bands are tight and this one feels right. Cup size .... how does the Marcie feel now? Plus, is it an index 6 or a 7? I think you were right to begin with as the measurements make it look more like a 7. If the 30:9s were only slightly too big, then I doubt a 32:6 would fit you. This is a 34:7 and might be the correct size or only slightly too big. It is possibly a shape problem; half cup styles are highly dependent on cup height for fit. The volume may be correct, but the cup could be too tall for your FoB and shorter roots. If the cup height here were reduced by an inch or so, would it fit? If so, this is the correct size. Also, remember to fit your larger side and ignore your smaller side - you can always stuff the smaller side, but the larger side can't be "cut down." If the assymetry is significant enough, you can invest in a cookie and wear it in the smaller side to balance out the slightly too large cup.
If cutting an inch off the top edge would make this a perfect fit then, EM usually fits one cup smaller in unpadded than padded so I'd try a 34:6 - 75E.
If not, I'd still try a 75E because your horizontal and vertical measurements are so much larger than the cup depth. I think that your laying measurement - which is hard to get accurately - might be improved. If you wear your Marcie long enough to get body marks then try the measurement again, you might get a more accurate number using the following technique: using the body marks as your root edges (they are not, but they are easy to feel), measure from the inside of one to the inside of the other while laying half way between your back and side - try to shift so that all your breast tissue "balances" on top of your ribcage and doesn't seep over one way or another. This is usually when your nipple points at the ceiling. Try it a couple times. I stress this because it really is the best measurement for determining cup size. If you have done this measurement flat on your back, it is almost impossible to get an accurate measurement beyond a C cup, and then only if you are very front and centre already. You have to edge onto your side a little to avoid puddling in your armpit.
I think the SM would suit better because it is slightly narrower, in cup width as well as in gore, but the BM is a little more forgiving from a size perspective with the stretch lace. Try a BM in 75E and see if it fits. Then try an SM.
Go with what feels right. There are a lot of people here who want to give lots of suggestions, usually based on their own personal struggles, but ultimately, it is your body and only you can decide if it fits. I think you are right to head for the narrower wires of EM as your roots do seem narrow. Hang in there. It will come!

helpfulLove4Pollinators and maddy2596 , I've added more pictures after wearing this bra for almost 12 hours. Any thoughts?

You are the ultimate judge..... But, that wire pushed out and looks like it would bite your ribs. And, I prefer a bit wider wire, but, that is personal preference. Do you prefer a lined/padded bra?
-
It looks like the immediate projection is not quite enough and that is pushing the wires downward. Both the SM and the BM would be better. Padded bras, even EMs, are never as immediately projected as unpadded. If the roots and wires feel right, they look ok.
-
plus, if the wires were actually in your imf, the gore would sit higher and might feel better. If you think these wire might be too narrow, try the BM instead of the SM.
-
There is also a distinct possibility your center fullness is helping push the wire out of your IMF.
-
Love4Pollinators true, but again, both BM and SM could help with that. If nothing else, this measurement should give you good info on what wire widths you should look for.
-
Absolutely :-)

Thank y'all so much for taking time to help! I think I'll try a BM. If one doesn't show up on here pretty soon, I'll have to figure out how to order on the EW website.

So, I looked at the links you shared and I'm definitely short waited. Only one hand fits between my imf and natural waistline. I kinda figured I'm short rooted since one of my main fitting problems is strap gap. Also, when gently supported with my hand, I have zero point zero space between my breasts! In other words they touch. I can send pictures of hand supported breasts to you if that would help you help me but don't want to post them to the general public of Bratabase. I'm not sure any wireless bra would be supportive enough for me. In your opinion, what should I try next? I'm still kinda hesitant to order Polish since this one wasn't a perfect fit.
