Bra fitting help » Would a cupsize more work?
Comexim » Musetta Half Cup » 60E 28:5
Issue resolved
I´m going to try 60F.
Original problem
Musetta part two. My first try was with the standard cut for Musetta, which was ok at the bottom but too open on top for me. I contacted Comexim and they suggested I try Musetta as 3HC. What is not visible in the pictures, the gore doesn´t lie flat. I can put my index finger in the gap. The top isn´t too bad, the cutting in is minimal.I think this cut is too shallow for me actually. Overall it looks somehow smushed. Now the good question is, would 60F work, or should I try something else or just forget it altogether...

helpfulWell, per the measurements it is almost an inch smaller in the cups than your breast perimeter, which is a lot in your size range. I think you just need to size up!

helpfulI agree that it is shallow and therefore making your shape look smushed. If you are also having issues with a floating gore and the bra's top edges cutting into your breast tissue, then definitely have a try with size 60F.

helpfulMy 60E - Comexim » Coco (381) is the same size and cut and fits me now (breast perimeter 6.5") and when I was a little bit bigger (perimeter 7"). Yes, size up!
I also had trouble with a Comexim balconette cut and the 3hc is a lot better. It was the same gaping on top problem.

Ahh good to know! The balcony was good on the bottom, but I had gaping on top just like you! I needed the depth at the bottom though, not sure if this would be enough in 60F in the 3HC. It even looks like this version is smaller than your Coco. I guess that the shape will stay looking a bit minimized, not like my cleo marcie. But i could live with that, Musetta as 3HC is so beautiful!

Funny thing is, in the padded Plunge and 3HC 60E fits good. Until now my experience was that i had to size down in unpadded bras or at least take the same size as in padded, never before the other way round.
