Bra fitting help » Cup Size OK?
Wacoal » Embrace Lace Underwire T-shirt Bra (853191) » 32DD 32:5
Issue resolved
Going to try different style of bra
Original problem
I think the band is fitting OK, already on second hook and worn it three times, but started on the first hook. Is the cup a bit small?

helpfulI can't see it cutting in, but the pictures are a bit far away? Can we get a zoom in, and maybe more side angles to better see the issue?
(FYI, for my own privacy, I definitely prefer to cut my face out of all the photos on here... )

helpfulThe settings you've selected mean that other users cannot view your measurements or the bra's measurements--if you allow them to be viewed, we can probably give more precise recommendations.
I don't see severe quad-boob in these photos but they aren't close-ups, so you'll need to be the judge. If there is significant quadding/overflow then the cup is either too small or too shallow for you. If there is only slight quadding it may be only a minor shape mismatch, i.e. the cup is quite shallow just at the inner half of the cup near the gore whereas your ideal cup shape would allow more room for inner fullness.
I have had unpadded Embrace Laces before and also found the band quite stretchy though it started out very snug. However, needing to move in to the second hook after just 3 wears does indicate this may be a bit borderline for you--a true 30 band might be better. But again seeing your measurements would help give more exact advice!

I have added my measurements, but I was a bit confused by the system Bratabase uses. Just for reference, when I did the measurement calculator on a bra that fits, I was 30, 28.5, 35, 36, 35.
I also added a few close-ups.

ok seeing your measurements i think Wacoal's 30 would be way tight so 32 is probably fine in most of their models. Have you tried the other Embrace, the one that has embroidery on the cups and is not molded? It has stretch lace and is a fairly forgiving fit.
If you want seamless, I also snagged a few discontinued Wacoal Supporting Role bras that are GREAT for projected shapes, and super supportive, They're my current favorite. I think you'd be a 32DD in those as they fit deep, but not large per se.

helpfulIf the top edges of the cups cut into your breast tissue, the bra cups could be slightly too small in volume, or it could be that your shape is FOT and/or tall rooted and the bra's shape doesn't cater to that.
To determine which one you need, try this bra in 32DDD and then try a 32DD bra that is known to cater to FOT and/or tall rooted shapes.
***EDIT***
Now that you have added two close-up photos, I can see that the cups are not too small overall. It's a classic shape mismatch problem. Try some 32DD bras that cater to FOT and/or tall rooted shapes. b.tempt'd b.wow'd would be a good one to try cause it caters to people who have tall roots.

I actually used to own this bra is a 32 DDD and then lost about 10 pounds and the cups became too big for me...so I am definitely not a DDD.

I agree with the edit on this suggestion; I think you're either Full on Top or tall-rooted (like me) which can mimic FOTness.

I'm new here! I will definitely delete some of these pics once I get a few more responses...I have no idea how to take a selfie of a bra!
