Original problem
I believe I have close-set, u-shaped root, slightly center full, high-set, tall roots, full-on-top, averagely projected, self-supported breasts. The gore on this bra is great. I'm totally fine with a bra giving me some lift but I felt like this one pushed up too much. I think there's not enough room at the bottom of the cups for my breast tissue so it pushed everything up. I noticed that the measurements on my 30E Cleo Maddie are not too different from the measurements on this bra yet they fit so different. The Maddie doesn't hold my scoop and swoop and leaves gaps while the Comexim bra holds scoop and swoop pretty well I believe but feels like there's not enough room for it. The Maddie while scooped and swooped can hold everything without gaps or quadboob. I feel like the Comexim doesn't really quadboob but it does push up too much. Should I size up in this or is it just not the right bra for me.

helpfulMany people find Comexim 3hcs shallow at the appex. They tend to give a lot of room at the wire, but can be "flatter" from there up. It looks like it is the right size, just, as you say, a shape thing. Some people really like this shape, but if you do not, then Comexim 3hcs are not for you. You might prefer their plunges. There is debate as to whether the plunges fit "bigger" than the 3hcs, but I think it is primarily this location of projection issue. The plunges have most of their projection at the appex and do not have a lot of room at the wire (usually termed immediate projection). It is hard to tell from pictures in padded bras, but do you feel like there is empty space at the bottom of these cups or is it too small nearer the top edge when you scoop and swoop? If you genuinesly do not have enough immediate projection in this bra, then you have the "I want a shelf to set my boobs on" problem. Since they are so self supported, I would suspect that it is not the bottom of the cup that is the issue, but the "flatness" at the appex is what pushes the whole bra down leaving empty space at the bottom. Also, the Maddie does not generally have a lot of immediate projection either, and if you have no gaps at the bottom of that, but do have gaps nearer the top, then it is more likely to be the appex projection, not the immediate projection. I definitely think that if you do not like the shape of this bra, you will not like Comexim 3hcs. I do not know how different their 2hcs (only one verical seam, thus 2 part not 3 part) are, but I do know that their plunges, in the same size, might suit you better. They also have narrow and short gores which can suit narrow set and some centre fullness traits, but the wings generally do not get any higher than the 3hcs so they will not start poking. If, however, you do have an immediate projection issue, then you may have to resort to unpadded as this and Ewa Michalak CHP are the only padded styles I have come accross with any immediate projection to speak of, and the unpadded almost always have more. Good luck and keep trying!

helpfulwe have a pretty similar shape, i have found when i feel like i need to size up in a bra cup, that it will fit okay everywhere, but then the cups will come up too high under my armpit. i think if you sized up it would have that happen... but everything that maddy2596 sounds spot on! i'm not expert in Comexim. I only own 1 and I tried sizing up and had that armpit problem.... you mentioned a Cleo Maddie in a 30E. That would be the most perfect bra ever for me except that the gore is too tall and wide and a tad armpit pokey. It has a lot deeper cup bottom then any Comexim I've tried, and I've tried probably like 8 different styles. When you say, "The Maddie doesn't hold my scoop and swoop and leaves gaps? then latter in the post you say "The Maddie while scooped and swooped can hold everything without gaps" is that at the top of the cups or the bottom? I'm confused a little sorries. I know that the Maddie gaps at the top a tad for me after my breast had settled because it was a hard foam molded cup and they tend to do that.

When wearing the bra it does feel like there is an empty space at the bottom of the cup. I think the top feels fine.
Thanks for all the information, I will definitely look more into this.
