helpfulWell, both Panache and their Cleo line have wide set straps....even more so than other balconetes or demis. It looks like you are FOB and shallower on top, so I think you can find a Panache/Cleo that will be comfy. You may need to go down a band size, but try staying with the FF cup. I get digging of the gore when the band is too loose and it looks from your pic that you already have this on the tightest set of hooks (not good for a new one). Remember, for the band to fit correctly, no more than two fingers should fit under it (when new at the outer most hook) and it will leave marks after being worn--just from your measurements, I would say the band is too big for a start.

helpfulSo when you band size down, *usually the straps are set closer together. I would also recommend a band size down based on your measurements. Most ill-fitting bras are too big in the band and too small in the cups. Culturally, we have this block about bra sizes are we say "I'm not that skinny" and "I'm not that big." But really, a GG cup only means ten inches difference between snug underbust measurements and fullest overbust measurements. It is not really that big. I would suggest you try a 34GG. That is one cup size up from the "sister size" of this one, 34G. That means you go down one band size, because your ribcage is smaller than you might think and the band is where all the support is, and you go up one cup size, you might even need to go up two, because it will feel so much more comfortable and will give you a lot of support. You might have a look at this site to see what real bra sizes look like! Good luck!

helpfulThe cup depth of the bra doesn't seem right for an FF? Are you sure it's 6.5"? Others are getting 11-12" here when I searched this bra and size. The stretched band also seems off...others are getting 36-37". Now that of course does not help with fit troubles but might want to remeasure to be sure as 6.5" depth means a way too small cup.
I would agree on the too large band which makes the straps even wider and contributes to an uncomfy wire placement.

I re-measured and corrected the numbers as you posted.

helpfulI agree with the other posters' advice on sizing--you're not very far off, but you can do better in terms of finding the optimal size. A smaller band will help anchor the whole bra in place so that the underwires don't slide down under the weight of the breasts and dig into the front of your body. If the cup volume seems ok on this bra, simply sister size (34G instead of 36FF).
For the bra strap placement issue, I've found the Fantasie Jacqueline is one of the few UK-brand bras that has nice close-set straps that won't cause me any trouble. It is fairly forgiving in terms of breast shape in your general size range.

Thanks for posting, I will order this same bra in 34G.
Funny thing is, if yinz are right on my size...I have been wearing the incorrect bra size for over 30 years! -
You're not alone! Although 30 years ago bra sizes ran a bit differently. As the bra industry has incorporated more and more features to make bra bands stretchier, a band size that once was fine for a person of a given body size may now be much too loose.

Well, That explains a bit. Couldn't figure how I could be so wrong for so many years.

I had never heard this, wendybien. Thanks for the background!

helpfulI'm actually curious where the wires hurt? For me, Envy dug in under my boobs like no other bra. But some people get pain because the wires are sitting on breast tissue, either at the inner or outer side of the breasts. Some people get pain because the wires poke them in the underarm.

I get both, under boob and under arm dig. But this bra is the wrong size, so hopefully when I get the correct size this wont be an issue. Thanks for sharing!

Good luck finding a better fit! Its definitely a process. and of course, as soon as you find your perfect bra, you'll either gain or lose weight and have to start all over, because the next size up or down in your favorite bra . . . wont be quite right lol.

helpfulI would recommend to try other Panache type. I had the same problem with this type with some others. I tried bigger cup but the next cup size could not solve the problem it was too big on the top. The older type from e.g. TangoII (white, nude or black) has a little bit other shape, the boobs are not wide from each other. I would recommend for the band 34. Cup size probably G? Tango rans a little bit bigger in cups as Envy. The straps would closer on your shoulders.

Thanks, for the info. I will order this same bra in 34G. If that doesn't fit then I will try the 34GG, and refit check. I will also check the site you recommend, Thanks
