Issue resolved
I ordered a custom version of this bra with straps moved in, reduced and overlapping gore, and reduced wings.
Original problem
I had breast reduction a few months ago (and yes, I know my breasts are still quite large, sadly definitely larger than I wanted, but I am trying to soldier on) and my breasts are now a different shape, in addition to being smaller. My tissue is now much firmer, my roots wider, and thus my breasts closer set--I have just over 1 finger width between them. Therefore, I am going through the ABTF journey all over again!
I would love feedback on fit and ideas for what customization may help this bra fit me better. I'm also open to general bra fitting tips
This bra appears slightly too big, and I think this is due to the gore floating by about .3cm, probably due to my breasts being close set. This seems to cause a slight gaping of cups, which goes away if I hold the gore to my sternum. I've tried a Comexim Sonia half cup in a size down, and it was clearly too small due to quadding. Also, the straps feel a bit too wide and the fabric on the outer part of the cup comes up a bit high.
Would a reduced gore and straps moved in 2cm solve the above problems? Other ideas on customization or fit tips?

helpfulI've had success with solving exactly this problem by asking Comexim to use firmer wires, which then hold the shape better in the center. I still get a soft tack, but a much better fit. I also requested an overlapped/narrowed gore.
If you don't think you'd have an issue with your tissue falling to the center in a plunge (because of the firmer tissue), you might also consider asking for a lowered gore.

helpfulFirstly, beautiful bra!
I'd say reducing cup height may also help you getting a better fit. The cups do look quite tall to me. Not sure if it bothers you? If so, lowering them should reduce most of the upper gaping. Combined with a narrowed gore, and yes straps set closer together, I guess this would be perfect on you!For reference / alterations inspiration (😉) I have four altered Comexims 3HC in 70K - still haven't added them on BTB:
- lowered and narrowed gore (by 2 cm) with wires overlapping,
- lowered cups (2cm),
- straps closer set (3cm),
- 4x3 hooks... with all these alterations they're a bit too small actually, but as you're almost needing to size down I guess similar alterations should work out well for you, too!And less drastic alterations, like lowering by 1 cm and straps moved in 2 cm, should keep the sizing / dimensions closer to the unaltered bra.
Good luck!

helpfulMoving the straps in 2cm may reduce the gaping. From my experience, the overlapping gore modification narrows the gore .1" . Is that enough to enable tacking? If not, reducing the gore may be the best option. This design is beautiful on you!!

helpfulBeing that close set, I'd look for bras with a lower gore. Having that gore reduced will alter the angle of the top of the cups bringing them closer together, coding the top of cup just bit without reducing total height and also will be less pokey to your center fullness. Personally, I'd go a cup smaller and ask for a reduced gore and straps moved in.
