Issue resolved
This issue is fixed because no bra in the world will fit me. The end.
Original problem
I'm wearing a 70F Comexim Basic Plunge bra (http://bra.pe/MEu9/). I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I love that this bra has a narrow gore at the top because if it was any wider it would be pressing on breast tissue. But as you can see, the gore needs to be much wider toward the bottom of the bra.
Also, my higher up, larger, left breast, is mis-shaped at the bottom, and that's why there is so much room between the bra's underwires at the bottom center toward the gore on my left side.
I tried this bra in a 70E, and I had quadboob in it. As you can see the tops are fine.
I guess I need narrower wires and more immediate depth?
The problem with that is any bra that I've found to have "immediate" depth, I will gape at the top, except for my 30E Bravissimo Satine bra. I fill the bottom and top perfectly on that one, but get quadding if I stand up too straight.... anyways...
Basically, am I FOT? FOB? Even? Splayed? Close set? Wide? Narrow? I have no idea.
All I know is wires are always too wide on me and that gores are always to tall, and I know that when I'm not wearing a bra my breast look like road cones (very conical).
This bra is comfortable except I always get a red hive under my right breast, it is very visible in the pic's, and I have no idea why.
Any advise will be much appreciated. Thanks!
I have this bra for sale here: http://bra.pe/GEmD/

helpfulThis is exactly where Comexim bras bite me; under my right breast. And, it hurts. Sorry this is happening to you, too. Through much experimentation, I have concluded my center fullness shifts the force (weight) of my breast from the length of the gore (fully tacking gores are important) into that location under my breast. SO many bras are too center-shallow for me. Sigh.
You may want to be seated for this. Because you have the "wire bite" mark combined with signs that the bra is pushing out of your IMF, this bra may be too center-shallow for your breast shape. Requesting more projection near the underside may be very helpful. I have not requested this alteration, but several of our users report great results.
Gorsenia lined half cups have more center projection than....well almost any half cup bra. The shape is similar to Comexim, materials lower quality, wires equally narrow, more immediately projected, and significantly more center projected. If you are up for an adventure, Gorsenia may improve your fit.
Sincerely, best of luck. It seems a lot of that is required for some of us.

Gorsenia makes both the narrowest wired balconettes I've found and one of the widest. And, sadly, we don't know yet how to determine which model is extremely narrow and which is wide. http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dii52/ The padded half cups are wider than the narrow balconnette, but not as wide as the wide balconettes. And, the unlined half cups are wide. It is, frankly, a mess of misunderstanding. But, the center projection is excellent. ;-) ;-)
I concur with hugsforyourjugs and dbmamaz. This may be some help for you, too: http://thepetitecollegiate.com/2016/04/21/photo-glossary-bra-fitting-and-breast-shape/

does this one look like what your talking about? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gorsenia-K146-Verona-underwired-non-padded-full-cup-embroidered-bra-big-bust-/132054138656?var=&hash=item1ebf0a3f20:m:mAe4WojWtkL-1W5wPOLnFEw
this is the style i tried that was too wide -
the problem i've noticed is that bras manufactures don't make the size i need. it's like every bra that is DD+ would be a perfect match for me, and i find my self always needing a 30D, but the smallest they go is 30DD....
i know i've seen 30Ds, that's not what i'm saying.
i hope that makes sense.
everytime i see a bra on here, i'm like, it would be perfect for me, too bad that don't make my size. like some ewa's or Marks and spencer, or ultimo's -
Verona "should" be wide, but if it is new stock, it may not be. Argh.
This is a 65E I tried: 4.3" wide and 8.8" deep. This bra is definitely a NARROW Gorsenia.

hmm. maybe i just got a dud. i will keep looking out, too bad they are all gonna be international shipping :/

Wacoal's Wild Seduction will come in a size that fits, resembles an unpadded halfcup, gore overlaps if you need it (adjustable), narrow wire, good center projection,.... It is a very different new Wacoal. The 32 band will feel like a 30.
I have not tried Marcie because Cleo/Panache wires cause me great distress. But, Marcie does receive regular accolades here and ABTF. Curvy Kate Daydreamer may be an option, too. It is quite similar to Cleo Lily, but better in my opinion. These are all unpadded, however.
Gorsenia ranks at the top of my list for center-projected lined bras....
-
I second Daydreamer and think Vegas would be even better. At 30D the wires should be around 4.7 inches wide, gore 2.3 tall. Vegas is a clone of Daydreamer with one caveat. Daydreamer is better for short roots but Vegas might work for taller roots as it has a stretch top (but the right elastic so it does not cut in). There's so much center room. It's my best bra ever so far.
-
i've never tried the cleo lily, just the cleo marcie and cleo lucy.
i only want unpadded bras, but they are so hard to find in my size.
i tried a curvy kate once and it was too deep for me, but that was over 3 years ago. it was an unpadded plunge in a 32D. that's all i know....
i'll try to hunt down the bra's u mentioned and give them a try :)
thanks so much. -
i'm having a hard time tracking those bras down in my size.... ugh.

Here's the one I mentioned. It comes in your size: https://m.herroom.com/curvy-kate-ck5601-vegas-sheer-top-balcony-bra.shtml

Here's Wild Seduction in 32C, which Love4Pollinators says will feel like a 30 band: https://m.wacoal-america.com/wild-seduction-balconette-underwire-bra-wacoal-851242-p.html?gclid=CPvj1pWbxtQCFQEIaQod9z4H0w

helpfulIn addition to the bra not having quite enough room in the centre, it looks like you have a splayed root shape. Ultimately there's not a huge amount you can do about this except to try and buy bras with similarly shaped wires. Your wire marks vs root shape is a classic example of this: https://goo.gl/7D88nXg
For more info on this you can take a look at this post:http://hugsforyourjugs.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/center-full-outer-full-splayed-what.html (yes it is my blog but it's not monetised or anything, I just think it might help you).
Your centre fullness is a bigger issue though, and tbh I don't find Comexim's plunges to be centre fullness friendly or having good depth at the bottom or near the gore, hence the wires being low and the wrong shape but you're experiencing quadding in the middle top.
I think your problem with bras that have depth at the wire having space at the top is due to the bras then having too much space at the apex, so your boobs sink down into the bra.
"Basically, am I FOT? FOB? Even? Splayed? Close set? Wide? Narrow? I have no idea."
I think you have tall roots and an even shape, as well as slight centre fullness. It does look like you have narrow roots as this Comexim is too wide. I think you are close set at the top (hence gores being too tall) and have a splayed root shape lower down.
The most centre fullness friendly bra I've tried has been Cleo Marcie and though we're in pretty different sizes I think it might be a good bra for you to try - it has depth at the bottom but not a huge amount of depth at the apex in comparison so your boobs won't sink down. Alternatively, if Marcie is a little too deep overall and/or you can't deal with the gore (it is quite a firm gore haha), Panache Ava might be one to try.

I also see tall roots and project . . . i think with tall roots the 'fob' doesnt work as well. You are shaped like FOB except that you cant take a closed top cup because it will cut in to your tall upper tissue. Not full upper tissue, but tall.
I think half cups are probably the best bet since cups that are open on top will gap and cups that are closed on top will cut in.
Marcie, which was good for me in a much larger size, was very open on top.
-
yeah, i've tried the marcie a long while ago and the gore was the worse thing i've ever experienced! haha. it also cut into the top and wrinkled at the same time.
i have recently tried the lucy and i think it might fit perfect except the bra i tried was used so i have no idea how a new one would fit. -
okay after reading that PC blog post, i can agree that my left breast is more splayed and since it's higher and larger, it has a bigger gape on the interior.
but they are definitely not FOB, the blog poster leans forward and you can see tissue hanging underneath for FOB, when i slightly lean forward, my breast tissue underneath my nipples almost disappears and they become the pointiest breasts i've ever seen and they also get narrower and at least an inch longer.....
i think i just have magic boobs. lol

helpfulI agree with your opinion: Looks like the wires are too wide, there is not enough space at the bottom of the cups, and too little immediate projection.
The most simple way to fix this would be to sister size up in the band! Really. This would take strain off the wires, and the cups get more depth immediately.
Your tight ribcage is at 29", loose is at 32, so a 75 band in Comexim is a totally reasonable choice (especially given the fact that people with lean ribcages often feel better in bands larger than their measurements indicate).
For comparison: My ribcage measures 27" tightly, 29" loosely, and I am wearing a 70 band in Comexim with no issues. I tried a few 65s too, as 30 is my UK size, but get distorted wires in those.Updated on June 18, 2017 Flag this

it's funny cus, the only reason i opened this fit request is because this bra is very popular, so i thought that because of that, ppl would be able to tell me what kind of breast i have. :( sadly, it seems that i have to figure it out myself, because i keep getting links and stuff and i just want someone to tell me what kind of boobs i have. but apparently they are magic boobs, lol, :) and no one really knows i suppose. really is discouraging. i know everyone means well.
i wish i could comment this to all the ppl above, so this is directly responding to you, just everyone in general.
i guess i give up.
if this bra (one of the most popular) won't help ppl tell me what kind of boobs i have, then i guess no one can.
no wonder i've had 3 fitters give up on me and say there are not any bras that will fit me.
ugh. -

I'm saying it looks like a size issue to me, not a bra issue or a shape issue. There are well-fitting bras for every person with boobs out there, but if the size is off, it's really hard for other users to tell anything useful. Only thing I can say is "maybe try another size and report back how that worked out".
Apart from that, it required me to try on more than a dozen bras before I had figured out my shape, so nothing to worry about.Finding a well-fitting bra can be frustrating, because it's taking a long time and so much trial and error, so I can understand what you are going through. Totally worth it in the end, though.

If it's any help, based off of your photos, your shape seems very narrow, even, and slightly projected/average.
Have you tried any of Comexim's half cups? I think they may suit your shape a little better. A little hard to tell, but seems like you might have tall roots. I do also and this causes that weird cutting in that you seem to be getting. Granted, I don't have as much issue with Comexims.I would try one of their half cups, ask for a 3hc. If you haven't already :)

i've tried Gorsenia, and they are too wide for me :( they are so pretty though. so i have projected breast? am i FOT or even? are they narrow? sorry for the repeat questions, i have no idea....
