Feedback on cup being too deep was really helpful. Also got some suggestions of bras that might be a better fit!
Original problem
I'm getting some wrinkling in the cup. It's not quite across the top -- seems more like diagonally in the middle of the cup. What's causing the fit issue? It doesn't seem like it's from me being too FOB for the bra (since the wrinkling is kind of in the middle). I haven't seen wrinkling like this in my other bras. Is it too deep? Or some other issue?

It looks too deep to me. Your measurements show it as the same depth (or slightly less) than your other bras - you are measuring inside an empty bra when you measure depth, right?

I think it's too deep but too closed on top for you. So it looks like it fits because you don't get gapping at the top, but you need less room at the apex. I think bras like half cups or less projected balconettes that are a little more open on top would work better for you.

That would make sense... For some of my other bras I have wrinkling at the top, but this one threw me in a loop because it's "fitting" at the top.
Thanks for the suggestion! I have some Cleo balconette bras that I love.

I've heard the Tango can actually be a bad fit for cup sizes under a G. It doesn't work very often for F and under - too deep in the middle. If you look at photos of Tango here there are so many pics of people with exactly this problem, so you're far from alone in finding it a tricky fit, if that's any comfort!
If you want to try another Panache style I think a Clara in 30E or an Envy in 30DD/E would work much better for you than the Tango

Some of the recent bras I've measured don't quite fit right (like wrinkle on the top). Being too deep makes sense, thank you!
