Issue resolved
Went up a cup size to 28D
Original problem
Fit check please! I recently realized my breast shape had been in bratabase incorrectly. I believe that I have wide roots and narrow breasts, but please correct me if I am wrong, I am no expert! My main problem with my existing bras is the top part of the bra shows a line under many of my clothes.
After I corrected this, as well as entered new measurements, I got a ton of new recommendations and this is the first bra I am trying. Does it seem to fit well? My only concern is with the bit of fat above the band under my arms.
Let me know if I need to provide more information about this bra.

helpfulHave you tried this in a 28D? It looks like cup edge is cutting in a bit and the sides leave, what looks to me, some uncaptured breast tissue. Do you swoop and scoop from your shoulder blade forward into the cup? It is possible the little bubble above your band could be coaxed inside the cup with a swoop and scoop...or not
If this fits well enough, you may not want to bother with a 28D. But, I'd try the 28D if I were you...."science"
Best wishes

Hope the 28D clarifies, definitively, which size you most prefer :-)

Here's the 28D
http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dimcv/I haven't returned it yet but I think the width on the cups is better, but the cups are too deep :( what do you think
Also wendybien !

To me, the 28D looks like a better fit. However, you are your personal fit expert. You know what feels best. :-)

You don't think the wrinkled bottom of the cups are a problem?
-
Giggle.....I may need my glasses to see the wrinkles. ;-) I bet the Bratabase watermark may obscure them from my view.
-
I might wear it around the house for 30 minutes or so to see how the breast tissue settles....
-
Yep you are right Love4Pollinators after 10 minutes or so the wrinkling went away. My husband told me to fake run up stairs in the 28C and I definitely spilled out! 28D it is. Thanks for your help!

Hilarious :-) He gives great advice :-)

helpfulHave you tried lengthening the straps all the way? I just ask because it could be contributing to the band sitting a little higher than where it would naturally settle at the back.
I agree you're getting less coverage in this size, but with a nonwired bra that is not usually harmful as there is no hardware to apply painful pressure to breast tissue. It's more a matter of personal preference. Do you feel awkwardly jiggly or uncontained in that sideboob area when you move around in this size? If so, size up. If not, may not be worth it.
If the band really only stretches to 27.5 with a good, normal-tension pull, that is going to be very tight on you, especially since you have such a lean torso... bone and muscle aren't compressible. An extender might help.

I lengthened the straps and it totally fixed the buldge issue, thank you!
I don't feel awkward at all in this size, but I will try the 28D as well just in case.
Double checked the stretch as well, it actually is 29.25.
Thank you so much for your help!

You're welcome! I'm glad that helped. Sounds like band length should be fine then. I think you'll prob find the D works best on your larger boob while this C was perfect for the smaller side ;-) But it's best to fit the larger side, because all-day compression isn't good for breast tissue!

helpfulLove4Pollinators wendybien the 28D was definitely too big, cups we're wrinkly all over the bottom half of the cup. I think I'll keep the 28C! Thank you!
