Issue resolved
band too tight and cups too shallow
Original problem
This is my first attempt at trying on properly sized bras and the correct style for my shape. I think I'm FOB with slightly-average projection and wide roots. I've tried on several plunge bras hoping they'd work with lower cut shirts. That style seems to not work well in general for my shape (smaller cup sizes do not contain all of breast tissue on sides but next cup size up causes significant gapping at top of cup near strap attachment).
This bra I think fits ok but wanted a second (or third) opinion. When I first tried the bra on, it seemed like it made my breasts look a little pointy in the front. While I didn't have any tissue actually fall out over the top of the cup, I'm afraid it may do so while wearing (especially if bending over).
Otherwise this bra seems comfortable- the band and straps are fine, but I'm not sure about the cup shape/size.
Thanks!

helpfulIt doesn't look bad at all visually, but the numbers tell a different story and so does the fact that you're uncomfortable and that those hooks are straining (see my comment on the Cleo Maddie). The Marvel is already a VERY shallow cup design so a too-snug band is going to pull it even shallower... an extender or a size up will likely help with this. Freyas are more forgiving than Cleos in terms of band length, in fact Freya is known to be loose, so it's likely that after a month or two of wearing this with an extender, it'll relax to the point where it could be a great fit even without the extender. However, wearing it as is right from the start is going to really blitz the elastic, shortening the life of the bra--as well as depriving you of needed depth in the cups.
