Bra fitting help » Straps too wide?

Issue resolved
The straps were too wide, but also too short, which contributed more to the problem.
Original problem
This feels like such a close fit, but I'm still getting shoulder pain. My theory is that the straps are too wide-set and are pulling down on my shoulders, even with the straps extended as far as possible, but just about every bra I own does this to some degree (I have none with straps that stay put). Can anyone confirm this?
If you know of any bras with really narrow-set straps, I'd love to try them.
Also--I'm trying to figure out more about my shape. My current theories are low-set, FOB, and with maybe the smallest bit of omega shape. I'm wondering if there's some major thing I'm missing (roots? fullness?) that would make it easier to find bras that fit.
Thanks everyone!

helpfulIt could be the reason... I also wonder if that stringy pink faux-strap embellishment is cutting into your shoulder like cheesewire... we don't often talk about them because those things aren't as trendy now as 15-20 years ago (when I remember having a great deal of trouble with them, as I carry zero fat along the top of my shoulderline and cannot tolerate a little narrow string stretched across my shoulders, even though my chest is moderate in size and weight). It looks like it isn't fully attached, can you try and just slip it outward and off the shoulder joint to see if that makes a difference?

oh I absolutely know that pain, I experience it whenever a bra band is too loose (so the weight of the bust is hanging from my shoulders). I thought of that for you but the measurements suggest that this should be reasonably (although perhaps not ideally) snug. Do you happen to have an accessory you could use to loop around the straps in the back to make them sit more centrally, to see if this eliminates the pain? Obviously it would not be a long term solution but it would establish that this is the cause (meaning you really need to avoid straps that are much too wide).
Unfortunately due to your small band size I can't really think of any great bras with narrow-set straps, because all the ones I know have size ranges starting at 30. UK and Polish companies specializing in smaller bands have a very unfortunate tendency to make all their straps very wide-set. Comexim or another brand that will really work with you on custom features could perhaps be an option.

The band is definitely a better fit than I'm used to (most of my wardrobe right now is 32s, which probably aren't supporting quite enough, but heck they don't hurt or fall off OTL). I did try out these silicone strap cushions that I completely forgot about, and they held them further in on my shoulders. It didn't fix the pain, but they did work swimmingly on another one I ordered--so thank you for that recommendation!
Ultimately I think the issue is a combination of short- and wide-set straps. I can adjust where they sit, thanks to the cushions, but if they're not long enough I'll still get the pain. My goal is to get things to work without accessories, of course, but if it ticks all the other boxes and doesn't cause pain I'll take it.
I'll look into Comexim! In the meantime I'll just keep my fingers crossed that my ribcage expands ;D Thanks again for your help!

You're welcome! good luck!
wendybien The faux strap doesn't seem to be bothering me at all; it's not pulling on anything or digging in. The discomfort is more of a muscular issue; it doesn't actually hurt under the straps. (Slightly difficult to describe... it's not directly from the straps, it's more what the straps are pulling on. Does that make sense?) Thanks so much for your suggestion!
