Issue resolved
<a href="/@sewthebowbackon" class="mentioned-item">finallygotboobs</a> and <a href="/@sherrach898" class="mentioned-item">sherrach898</a> helped me work out this bra is the wrong shape for me, and is better for full on bottom shapes
Original problem
Hello all,
I hoping someone can help me work out why I get a droopy profile (with apex pointing down) with this bra...
When I tried it on in the shop, I thought the 30G looked too big, but I do get quadding in this size - is that why the profile is droopy? It seems to be sitting in my IMF though, so maybe it's a shape issue? My nipples sit above the apex (as they do in most of my bras). The only bra in which I line up at the T-junction thing is my Curvy Kate Daily Dream 30G. The CK DD is my most upliftling bra, but I know it runs small in the cup and the wires are too wide for me. Perhaps I'm just between sizes for the Petra?
Anyway, if anyone has any ideas/shape help or recommendations that would be wonderful. Thanks all

helpfulThe 30FF is definitely too small in the cups. If you had gapping in the 30G maybe it was because the shape didn't match yours?

finallygotboobs sherrach898 thank you, this issue was really confusing me! I really wanted the Petra to work - in the changing room 30FF seemed perfect, but I think that was part wishful thinking, part over excitement because I think it's such a pretty design. Oh well. Do you know of any cut and sewn foam bras that suit full on top shapes?

The Polish 2 seam half cups are nicely open on top, like Ewa's CH/CHP and Comexim's 3HC cuts. Narrow and projected too.

lcl0706 thank you :) I'm a bit intimidated by sizing Ewa M bras - I'm thinking of going for a 70FF in the CHP style - do you think that's a good starting point?

Try Cleo Mimi. I've heard the floral print is the most projected colorway

Thanks hurrrrrmione , I'll try and track it down. I have the animal print in 30F but it's too small for me now

rubypig yes, that or 70G as some need to size up again in her padded styles. 70FF would be one size up from this Petra which is clearly too small, so it would be a starting point and you'd prob want a 70 band since hers run tight more than they do loose. I wear 28F/30E in nearly all U.K. bras, in my experience I can wear a 65E in the BM, M, and CHP and need a 65F in the S and 3D. That said, I am very short rooted and lean towards FOB. I'd take a shot at 70FF and if it's not enough try 70G. It is intimidating at first but if you get them to work for you, you'll never go back! All my padded bras are Polish now.

lcl0706 thank you! This is so helpful :)
I agree. I definitely think the 30FF is too small, and I think this bra in general is best for a more FOB shape. For those of us who are more FOT, it can create the downward/droopy/upside down 7 shape if we wear bras that are too FOB.
