Bra fitting help » Size or shape problem? Vertical wrinkles and empty space
Cleo » Hettie Balconnet Bra (9011) » 28GG 28:10
I bought this bra because i need immediate projection and narrowish wires. Although there is more projected at the wire than any other bra i tried there are still wrinkles.
Right after scoop and swoop there where vertical wrinkles/dents but my breast settles more in the cup after some moving. (I also tried pulling the cup upwards to smooth out the wrinkles) When they settle they seem to sit only in the lower cup, dont get lifted or rounded. Overall the shape it gives me is not ideal.
Theres also empty space in the top part of the cup at the lace.
I'm not sure if the cup size is the problem or the shape (maybe the cups are too tall? Or theres too much projection in the top part of the cups?)

helpfulThat stretch lace is supposed to be filled out and on you it's just empty. I think this bra could possibly work for you, in a smaller size, but this one is too large. I would try it again in a 28G and go from there.

helpfulPersonally I've found that Hettie runs almost a full size large because it has a ton of apex projection. It looks to me like you've got a fair amount of wrinkling all over, in addition to some empty space in the top of the cup. Would you be able to go down a cup size, to 28G? Or would the wires be sitting on breast tissue on the side in that size? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think wrinkles at the side usually indicate the cup requires more apex projection than what you have.

I agree with this, I think try a smaller size , if that doesn't work it could just be the wrong shape for you if you are FOB. I have this problem too and I have been told balconnette styles are good as there is not so much cup to fill at top. I have had better results with un padded ones though.
