Bra fitting help » Try 34d or accept that cleo bras have too stiff wires for me?

Issue resolved
wires too stiff
Original problem
When wearing for a while, the wires feel like they're digging in. Same thing happens with cleo hettie, so wondering if it is the wires vs the band.

Band feels comfortable wearing backwards/cups upside down.
The band measurements are longer than most of the bras I've tried w/comfortable bands-- but, this is the only one I've worn for 45m or so (besides the tess unlined bra, which also feels a little snug).
THe main bra I've been wearing has a 24.8/33.9 band- it feels a little big, but the gore doesn't tack at all, so that could be why. Plus it only feels tight enough on tightest hook.
Worth trying this and cleo hettie in 34d? Hettie's gore also digs into my sternum, even after bending wires back a bit

helpfulOh, Cleo's wires are too uncomfortable for me too. And I am NOT sensitive about wires--I am definitely not one of those with mentions of gores hurting or ends poking or sore spots from this or that part of the underwire in half my Bratabase bra reviews, unlike some of our long-suffering bra buddies here. I don't think the 34 will be much help. There are many other brands with softer ones!

helpfulAre you physically placing the underwires in your IMF? Cause they're nowhere near it in the first couple pics, and this bra should have plenty of room at the bottom of the cup.

helpfulSorry for my bad english. 34 would be way too big for you. Maybe a 30E or even 30F would fit you better, because the 32 band seems too loose for you according to jour mensurations.

helpfulLeProfessor and lcl0706 : I added new pics after pushing wires into IMF
Let me know what you think; I am not used to having wires sit thereI think the wires are just too stiff for comfort for me to keep this bra
I really like how it looks though!!

It looks gorgeous on you! You could keep it for a special/sexy time bra. If you really feel you'll never ever wear it, don't keep it. OR you could replace the firm wires in these bra with softer wire from an older bra and see how that works out! ;-)

I agree with lcl0706 here. This bra is not sitting in your IMF. Which may be causing it to dig.
Cleo is known for really firm wires anyway.
Just wanted to note that this bra also has wider wires than your curvy Kate Florence bra and they go up much higher than your curvy Kate Florence.
If you do not get any relief after making sure the bra is sitting correctly on your body, then Cleo may just be too firm for you.
Or you could get Cleo plunge bras that have almost non-existent Gore's.
