Bra fitting help » cup too small?
Panache Sport » Non Wired Sports Bra (7341) » 32GG 32:10
Obviously this bra is a bit small. My breasts are popping over. My recommendations list this same bra in a 30J, which seems a bit odd when I also have a Panache Envy bra in the same size which seems to fit near perfectly. I'm thinking a cup size up might be good?

helpfulOne cup could be ok or you might need to go up 2 cups. Sports bras are a little different from other bras if you plan to use them for medium-to-high-impact exercise--you really want the whole breast to be contained otherwise they will completely fail to control the annoying bounce. So, if one cup larger isn't quite tall enough to contain all your breast tissue you'll have to size up again. Of course if you're getting a sports bra for lounging, comfort or very low impact right-side-up activity, full containment is much less important. Hope this helps!

helpful30J doesn't sound too bad, at least in cup volume. I'd only check about the band tightness and torso squishiness if the 30 band may be too tight.
Each bra gets sized, designed and patterns cut differently which makes bras labeled the same size fit very differently, even within the same brand and there can be a bit of distance between regular and sports bras.
What kind of activity do you plan to do? Horse back riding? Trampolining? Marathons? Netflix marathons?

Try the wired one from Panache, it contains the breast much better than the non-wired.

lwgirl17 , what kind of dancing do you do? Is it bouncy, jumping dancing? As wendybien pointed out, medium to high level exercise requires more containment than lower impact exercise. Marveille mentioned the wired Panache Sport Bra might contain your tissue better than the wireless. I prefer the wireless because the wired version's gore goes very high. I'm in a different size range than you, however, so your preference may vary, even if you have close-set tissue as I do.
I'm mostly puzzled why the calculator recommends a 30 band for you. Did you say the 32 band is too loose?

learningaboutbras - I do the occasional zumba class. There's a lot of upside-down time in yoga, so containment is still an issue there. I may try the wired version. The calculator recommends a 30 band because I measure 30 inches around my ribcage (I just have a little flab that starts right under my ribcage that may make the photo look like the 32 is tight--it's not). I have other brands of bras in 30 bands and they're great.
Thanks! I do yoga and cycling and the occasional dance class. This particular bra makes me feel secure and is at least okay, so I've been using it, but it would be nice to have something a bit better fitting.
