Bra fitting help » shape mismatch?

Issue resolved
I am more shallow than I thought and need wider wires. It makes perfectly sense, all my bras leave marks on my breasts. My tissue on top is very shallow even though I'm FoT. I tried some wider bras today and they seem to fit better, although some leave a gap at the side because my tissue is super shallow there, and some cut in the center. I now know where to look and hope to be trying some shallow and super wide bras soon.
Original problem
I think I am full on top, but I get wrinkles in the top of this bra, while I fill the bottom. Is this a shape mismatch, or should I try a cup size smaller?
I have close-set breasts and center fullness and, though my breasts are shallow+wide, I'm having trouble finding shallow bras that fit - the gores are often too wide or the cup fabric cuts at the center. Any thoughts on what I should be trying next?

helpfulI think you may be able to wear the Gorsenia Big model. It is great for tall, center full, wide breasts. The gore will likely be too wide, but it is an easy alteration in a bra that may otherwise fit.
The Gorsenia patterns are confusing. Specifically, look for a pattern number less than K200 and, for double insurance, look for "Big." Seriously , even then I can't guarantee you'll purchase the wider unlined pattern. I haven't tried the unlined half cup, but that may work for you, too.

helpfulI'm definitely not an expert but I'm wondering how tall your roots are? Could it be that the cups are too tall for you so you can't fill the top despite being FOT? I don't have any specific recommendation since we have opposite shapes but have you tried any half cups that are open on top? I feel that might work. I never tried Gorsenia but I definitely agree with Love4Pollinators that gores aren't very hard to alter.

Thanks for your comment! My roots are actually very tall, they almost hit my collarbone. But they are shallow, so maybe that causes the gaping. I seem to either get quad boobs & wires sitting on my breasts, or (when I size up) gaping at the top of the cup. Cups of bras that otherwise fit often dig into my underarms, so yeah, maybe I should search for shorter cups...

Hmm then maybe try shallower cups instead? Half cups may work well for your roots but plunges may work well for being close set. Of what I've tried I've found Tutti Rouge Queenie and Panche Porcelain Plunge to run very shallow (in my size of 28E they were about 5.5 width), unfortunately they are all plunges. I know there's more very shallow bras (I think cleo juna is supposed to be shallow but the cup width says 5.1 and I've never tried it) but I've seen lots of Porcelains for cheap.

Thanks, I'll see if I can find the tutti rouge. The cleo Juna gets close in 28F/30E, but the top is still a little open and I probably need something wider. I didn't realize I am this shallow! I'll be trying a couple of bras that are very wide and shallow next, thanks for the suggestions :)

I'm not 100% sure. I'm just going off you having both tall and wide roots plus wrinkling. Hopefully that works though :)

helpfulI am not a fit expert. Maybe Nessa may fit you? Wide, low gores and low cup heights in some of their bras. Just a thought.

Thanks, I'll browse though the Nessa bras on bratabase tonight. It sounds like a brand that may work for me :)

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm trying to buy all bras from shops with free returns, and it's hard to find Gorsenia bras, but I'll keep my eyes open, also for listings here on bratabase :)
