Issue resolved
I returned the bra and bought a different one
Original problem
I have tried this bra on with and without an extender and I am still unsure if it fits correctly. The underwire fits wonderful and the band does as well but I am unsure about the cups.

helpfulNo expert here, but I think your band is way too tight, and coincidentally I got some infos on that today:
I learned today (at a store where they sell them) that the band of Polish bras tends to be shorter and stretches less than UK bras of the same label size and you need to calculate your band size differently (I also tried them on and my god, where they tight). Your band only extends to 27 inches (68cm), your tight ribcage measurement is 31 inches (79 cm). For a Polish bra, you should go for a 80 cm band size (80 will feel like a UK/US 32, possibly even tighter).
On the Comexim website, it also says that you don`t subtract anything from your ribcage measurement to get your band size, and they explain that their bras are tighter than others. According to your measurements, you should get an 80cm band: http://www.comexim.pl/en/content/6-sprawdz-rozmiar

I`m not sure if the style is right for you, so I find it difficult to tell if the cups are too small. You have some gaping on top of the cups, but I think that`s not a size issue, but a shape issue.
Maybe someone else here has more insights on that, I`m really not sure :-) -
That's okay thank you for the help so far I appreciate it. The style probably is wrong I am just not sure what to try next.
-
BLee when an underwired gore fails to tack, that often means there will be gapping at the top, but that's because the cup lacks depth, not because it;s too big! If she were to force it to tack by pushing on the gore, that gap would be gone and you'd just see more quadding.

helpfulThe fact is that very heavy breasts make a tighter band helpful and that people with more squish around their ribcage often need to size down from their ribcage measurement instead of up. I agree this band seems to be under too much tension, but the cup size needs to be considered as well--if cups are too small that can take length from the band and skew the evidence so to speak.
What happens if you loosen the shoulder straps? It looks like you've tightened these a lot to get some lift, but this can also cause quadding, not to mention excessive strain on the shoulders.

I can see how it feels loosening them if I remember correctly the quadboob was worse. Every bra I have ever worn digs in like that. I will try it and snap a quick pic
-
Thanks! That would help. The bottom line with heavier bosoms is that if you have to rely on tight-tight straps to make it work, it will not work. That is too much weight for your poor shoulders. It may turn out that Comexim's designs simply lack the sturdy construction that you need to get proper support from below (from the band and from a robust cup structure) instead of from above.

Yes, to me it looks like the weight of the breast is pushing the bra away from the chest wall (an effect which can be masked by overtightening the straps but as I said above this isn't good for your body). So I'd recommend a brand that is a little more robust in its materials and constructions.
-
That's true.
-
Have you tried Ewa Michalak for example? I personally don't wear them because even UK brands have excessively wide straps for me but they are quite popular in your size range so I think they're made of sterner stuff, so to speak!
-
I havent because I havent seen them in a us based store to buy them but I will have to check again

helpfulI feel like this Comexim band isn't tall enough for you. I know with my back fat I need a nice wide band to anchor itself. The problem is, a lot of bras with better bands are going to be for plus size ribcages. The other problem is that Comexim uses very soft wires which don't provide as much support as, say, Panache's super hard wires.
When you push the gore to your chest do you get quad? Can you return the bra? If you don't quad and you can return it,you can try replacing the wires with stronger ones.
Ewa Michalak is another option. Levana Bratique here in the states sells them online. You can also buy them from Zathiya. I recommend the SF cut.

I do get a little quad if I remember correctly when I push the gore in. Yes I can return it.
In the Ewa what size would you reccomend I try?
-
I'm not sure. It depends partially on the style you choose. Which UK bra fits you best in the cup?
-
The K cup has fit me best so far as for band size I am still trying to figure that out.
-
Just ordered a 34JJ. The K and KK was backordered 6-8 weeks along with the 36J. Blah hopefully this fits this is becoming a nightmare.
-
I hope it works for you!
-
Thank you but it was too small :( not sure what to try next
-
Where was it too small? Cup/band/both?
-
Sorry should of clarified. Just the cup.
-
So they do make up to a 70Q (UK 32L) which is available at Breakout Bras in the Ingrid and Basic colorways, so you could try that.
Another option is to try Ewa's FB line, which you might like better. Levana Bratique stocks quite a few sizes.
-
Also if you could measure this new bra you just tried it would be so helpful to find you a fit as well as for future users! Thanks!
-
Sure I will measure it tomorrow. And breakout bras is where I have been ordering. Were you suggesting that I get an L cup or am I confused?
-
I dunno. You could try it and if it is you know the KK is the correct size. How much too small was the JJ when you pushed in the gore?
-
Actually, I just realized it was a sister size of this one. So yeah, I'm looking at this one and I think a 34KK/75P is the size you would want to try :/
-
So I guess you could try a 32L/70Q with an extender and see how that goes. See if you want to backorder the 34KK.
-
Thank you I will have to look into those
-
I hope it works. It's so frustrating. I really understand.
-
I hope so too and it has been very frustrating Im glad you know how I feel. :)
-
Only thing I am wondering is if the 32KK was too big would the L be too big too or should the extender fix that? Thank you again for all the help so far
-
If the 32KK was too big in the cup, the L will be even bigger.
I guess I'm confused. Which band/cup sizes were too small in the cup and which were too big? The one on this fit request is a 32K and is too small, correct?
-
So the way it works is, a 32K is the same cup volume as a 34JJ, and a 32KK has the same cup volume as a 34K, ideally. A 32L would have the same cup volume as a 34KK.
-
Sorry to be confusing
The 34JJ was too small as yes was the 32K. The 32KK may have looked too big due to the band was super tight. I didnt try an extender on it because it looked so big I kinda wish I had now. -
I guess you could try a 36JJ on the tightest hooks. That size isn't back ordered and is a sister size to 34K.
-
I may have to wait for the 34K. Since the 36 wouldnt last as long.
-
I meant just to try it. Then you could send it back and order the backordered one.
-
Ah I misunderstood.
-
No worries!
-
So that's the 34JJ right? I almost think you could do a 36JJ just looking at the tension on the back hooks, especially since there are 4 rows of hooks and eyes. I see what you mean about the cups being too small though. How did the 34 band feel? How does it feel with an extender? If not too loose, you might try the 36JJ (sister size of 34K).
Probably you don't need to go up more than one cup so def 34K or 36JJ.
-
Yes that is a 34JJ the band felt better than the 32 and I didnt try it with an extender. Im glad to know I only have to go up one cup size and not many.
-
I am actually debating on trying a Ewa Michalak but wondering if the 34K would work in that brand as well. I was considering this one http://levanabratique.com/gladys-bra/ what do you suggest?
-
I've read that bra runs super tight so you might want to try 36JJ. If the cups are too small the FB line is the same cut but bigger cups.
-
I saw that too I will try the36 first and thanks for telling me about the fb cups
-
Thank you for that. That does make sense. I just have to figure out what 80cms is in inches would I also have to order a larger cup size?
