Bra fitting help » Gapping in underside of only one cup
Tutti Rouge » Liliana Bra (TU100) » 30E 30:6
This bra is the closest to perfect I've gotten so far - the only problem is that my smaller/lower breast has huge problems with gapping near the wire. You can see that the other side fits almost perfectly. Is there any way to fix this without cup-filling or alteration? For example, is there a swooping and scooping mistake I could be making? If I go down a cup size, my breasts will be quadded at the lace edging (it is a shallow bra, but just shallow enough.. for one boob).

helpfulThis particular bra looks wide and too shallow at the wire. 6.3" cup width may be too wide for your breasts. I'd suggest looking for a bra that has less cup width and a little more projection at the wire which will help alleviate some of the asymmetry fit issues. Soft cups show asymmetry more but if the wire fits better to the line of your breasts some of that is barely noticeable even in a soft cup bra. I believe ABTF has guides on wires if you look through their help guides - not sure about your particular size but maybe in the band size and you can get a better idea from there. Or peruse your size here in brat abase and look at the bra's cup width.

helpfulOK so the good news is that this isn't a "huge problem" unless it's causing discomfort on that side. We ALL pretty much need to fit our larger boob so that often means the smaller one has a bit too much room. You can't really force that boob to fit the cup lol! But, a small pad or cookie inderneath the base of the breast could help keep the wire down where it belongs. Otherwise the whole bra will be able to move up and down due to that breast's base being higher.
