Bra fitting help » Band too big, gore not flat.
Cleo » Juna Balconnet Bra (6461) » 30F 30:7
Checking fit on this bra. This is my first one since I had my daughter that I have tried on so far. It feels pretty comfortable though I think the band is a little big. The cups seem to fit everywhere but I spill out of the cup a little just after scooping and swooping. Not an issue after wearing for a little while. I think the gore lays flat but I have to pry my tissue out from under it to get it to do that. What do you guys think? Any ideas on what I should try next? In the meantime I think this is a really good every day bra, especially compared to the 32DD I was wearing from VS.

helpfulThe band is too big and the cup is too small and/or shallow. If you LOVE LOVE this specific Cleo design (the Juna) I'd go down one band size to 28, and up one cup volume (so instead of the sister size, 28FF, which has the same cup volume, I'd go to 28G).
However I would not normally recommend the Juna to most people w implants, because since a surgeon cannot widen the breast root, even so-called low-profile implants still make your breast mass taller and more projected (in relation to the width of its base) than a typical unaugmented breast of similar volume... this means implants frequently will automatically put you, relatively to other bra-wearers of your size, into the narrow, projected, ultra center full demographic. Juna has very decent projection compared to the shallowest Cleos (such as Maddie) but it's made to create a rather blunted profile (for nice mounding at the top) thus losing some apex projection. It also can be a tight squeeze for people with a lot of center fullness, depending on how high that fullness is.
If you are NOT completely wedded to the Juna, I would suggest any of the unlined Cleos in a 28 band and corresponding cup depending on the specific model's cup depth--you want about 9.5" depth, not 9" like this one. You absolutely do not want to be spilling out, you do not want any tissue trapped under the gore or any other part of the wires (agh!) and you want to watch out for coverage/containment; if a bra is fitting you like a super sultry demi cup when it's clearly designed for a more everyday balconnet/plunge look, it's too small.
There are many other UK, American and French brands that make cups in the shape and size you need, but only a few offer 28 bands, so I'd look at those as a first priority when you're looking to branch out.

Yes the Hettie looks to run much deeper so you prob would not need as high a cup size in that one. The Marcie is also a widely-available Cleo design that fits a lot of people pretty well--you can usually find it on clearance in a past season color.

Thank you so much! 🙂 Will likely be posting for fit help as soon I purchase one of these.

helpfulI have this bra in the 28G, the 28GG and the 28H (due to putting on weight and breasts growing) Just from looking at your pics I'd say you look like a 28GG in this bra. If you can try the 28G or 28GG on I'd highly recommend that.

What about the Hettie? Judging by the measurements on here I am between a 28F and FF right? I am searching for something inexpensive if possible so I am perusing the clearance sections of a few websites and some used stuff as well. I do like the Juna so I might try the 28G if I can find one for a good price but I'm definitely not super married to it or anything. Willing to try anything! So you think it looks like I am more narrow and projected? I always overthink it and can't tell at all! Thank you for your help! :)
