Comexim » Ingrid Plunge Bra (289) » 65HH 30:9
Issue resolved
Going to try ordering one with more depth at the cup and all alterations needed.
Original problem
Is the bra to small or just a style vs shape issue? It seems to fit well other then the slightly quadboob and gore twisting and not sitting flat. It seems to have a slight overlapping gore.

helpfulHmmm, seems like the cups might be too small in overall volume, based on how the cup's depth measurement is a whole inch less than your breast horizontal perimeter. Because of this your breasts may be pushing the bra away from your chest a little bit, hence how the gore doesn't want to tack to your sternum.

helpfulI found Ingrid to be an odd fit in comparison to all my other Comexim bras including their other plunge bras. I haven't seen a great fit with an Ingrid on anyone so far (though I'm sure there has to be some out there.) As you can see, Ingrid also has the wide set straps that eat the arm/armpit area, which isn't as much of an issue with their other models, either.
With that in mind, I wouldn't say it's really a shape or style issue, just this bra in general. Their other plunges will most likely fit you differently/better than this one.
I know that this doesn't really answer your question (sorry) but figure if may help in general.
Due to Comexim's soft wires, getting a full tack on any of their bras (excluding their deep plunge bras) is almost impossible, especially above an H cup. If it's comfortable and you feel supported, I wouldn't be too worried about not getting a full tack.
Also, It might just be the pictures but it looks like your straps are too tight? Try loosening them & the slight quad boob will go away.

:( Photos can be helpful but equally they can be misleading. :) My straps always look too tight, but it's just because I have permanent indentations on my shoulders from years of wearing too big of a band & relying on the straps for support.
I always try to rely more on what a person says about how it fits & feels since they would know far more than what photos show.
Hopefully the straps will help, so you can at least wear the bra without any quading. :)

Ironically it seams like there is more quad boob now?!? Maybe it's just my eyes..... I can see what you're saying about the gore pulling to the one side clearly now.
Is it pulling towards your larger side, or are you basically even?
When one breast is larger & fitting over full, while the other breast isn't as full, the larger breast tends to pull the gore towards it as its gaining more space. I have heard it called "Bully Boob"
If you are even, by any chance do the cups measure differently, as in one is slightly deeper than the other?
When the cups themselves are slightly different sized it can have that same effect. I'd measure both cups (wire distance, depth, height, etc as well as doing a flat visual comparison of the cups (laying it flat on a counter or bed & getting at eye level with the band to see if you can see a difference in the projection, incline, width and overall depth & volume of the cups. It really might just be as simple as the bra being slightly off.
The quadding that you're getting doesn't look like enough to warrant going up a cup without risking significant gaping, unless you ordered with cookie pockets & put cookies in. I've read of several ladies ordering with the pockets, but I assume they don't include the cookies with that. (But they can be taken out of other bras or purchased on Amazon for sure.)

I'm fairly even it's just weird that Comexim does this to me but EM I have no problem with. And it does it to both sides. I put my bra on scoop and swooped left side then right side. So it will twist towards right then left as I S&S. Even if I push the tissue away from the gore and get it to rest flat as soon as I left it go it will twist one direction or the other.
I will measure both cups and see if there is an issue there.

If it's Comexim on all & not EM on any, it might be due to the softer/flex wires that Comexim uses in comparison to the firmer EM wires as well. And so the plot thickens...... ;) I wonder if ordering "deeper at the wire" instead of sizing up the whole cup would help.

helpfulIf the twisting of the gore you're describing is it seeming to sit at a slight angle (can't fully tell through the bow), that is something that frequently bothers me visually and is from one of my breasts being half a cup bigger and pushing one cup down and out further than the smaller breast, making the gore appear a little lopsided and sometimes stand away a bit on just one side (on the rare occasion it isn't just sitting on both breasts because it is too wide). I'm only noticing quadboob on one side in your photos, which is why I suspect that might be the case for you as well. You might need to go up a cup size, but yeah, loosening the straps for a small quadding can be a potential easier solution.

It twists on both sides so I think it's a size issue. Plus the half cup I tried did the same thing and I was a smaller size when I tried it.
I haven't had a chance to adjust the straps and try it again. Might do that tonight. -

I think it's the way I was standing. I'll try loosening them a little and see if it helps. I have to have my straps slightly tighter because my boobs like to push my bra down out of the IMF if they don't feel like they have enough space. Which then hurts because the wire digs into my rib cage. :/
