helpfulI think the bottom of the cups is not filled because you are pulling down the bra further than it is supposed to sit to make the band close (the band is too tight). I know this "trick" and I`ve used it a couple of times when I had outgrown every bra I had....
Just try an extender, maybe that solves the problem.

It`s too tight, even with the extender. On the side view picture, you can see that the wires are distorted from the pull (this is not the design, I compared it with the other pics of this model). Just because you can somehow close the band does not mean that it fits. A too small band also affects how the cups fit (because they are pulled sideways), so you`re not doing yourself any favor by keeping this bra.
Is this 80J or 38J (that`s what you wrote below)? Because 80J should be 36J and not 38J. If this is 80J, then get 85H (38H).
-
It is an 80 j so your saying I should exchange it?
-
Yes, in my opinion you should get 85H (38H), or (better) 90GG (40GG) because this bra does not fit properly and the band will not stretch out that much. Have you ever tried wearing such a tight band for a whole day?
You will probably not be able to wear 85H without an extender (this would be just as tight as 80J with an extender, which is too tight for you, see the distorted wires). I`d really get a 90GG.
-
A 40GG sounds like it would be too big then again I am clueless about this stuff. And isnt a 38H a cupsize smaller meaning my larger side may not fit then again Im not sure
-
Yes, it is a cup size smaller, as I think this bra is a cup size too large for your larger side. However, you have to know if you feel comfortable :-) Just consider that when the band is not unreasonably tight, the cups sit differently and you get even more volume (the cups get larger).
A 40-band would not be too big for you (Polish bras have seriously tight bands). Again: With the extender, the 80-band is way too tight for you (distorted wires), which means that a 85-band will be too tight (unless you use it with an extender, but I fail to see the point in that).
A band is the right size when it`s snug and does not ride up, not when it`s the tightest you can possibly close. I can also squeeze myself into a 24-band when I pull hard enough, but that does not mean that it fits!

helpfulWell, it looks close but not perfect. How does the band feel? With your 'comfortable' measurement at 35, I would expect a 33 stretched band to be too tight. Do you have an extender you can try it with?
You are not filling the bottom of the cups. I'm not exactly sure why. It could be that the cup is not projected enough or its too narrow or . . . i dont even know.
The most important thing is how it feels and how it looks under clothing.

The band is a little tight.
I do have an extender I can try it with I will try it with it tomorrow.

"The most important thing is how it feels and how it looks under clothing."
I love this sentence. Thank you for saying this!
It is too easy to nitpick the fit and find issues with every bra.

helpfulI agree to try an extender. But I also think the cups look 1 size too big. I would suggest an HH or even an H. Try pulling the bra UP into your IMF.

helpfulWhen you get the extender out later, take a couple more pictures with the extender and we can re-evaluate the fit. It's very frustrating when bra bands aren't consistent. I have theories for why the 80JJ had a looser band- I think that designers know black bands are tighter (due to the dying process) and overcompensate for that. My black Comexims were looser in the band than my beige ones too.
Edit: I'm still looking at the measurements for this bra and how it fits you and I wonder if it's labeled correctly. The cup depth indicates it is smaller than expected for an Ewa of this size.

I was thinking the black felt looser. Still havent grabbed out the extender yet but I will

I took some pics with the extender on and I will add them to the post.

I think your album is public.
The fit is way better! How do you feel about it?
-
Ya its public and when I try to make it hidden it doesn't work.
It does fit and feel a lot better :) does that mean I should try a 38HH or 38H?
Thank you again for all your help so far.
-
I don't know enough about Imgur to help with that.
38HH I think. Are you gaping just at the sides of the cup where the straps attach? That's pretty common for omega shaped breasts because they are wider at the apex than the root.
-
I fixed the picture settings.
I was thinking about it and I may keep this one and use the extender. I am going to try it on again tonight and see and give it some thought. I honestly don't want to have to return it and wait on a refund again but will if it comes down to it.
-
The only problem I have with extenders is that they move the place where the straps attach in the back further apart which cause them to fall off my shoulders more. So if you don't have problems with it, great! Also there are so many nice SF models you can always get a second one in 38HH in the future. I'm so happy you are comfy enough in this one to keep it!
-
Thank you I havent decided yet I may still return it. I will let you know
-
I have it on now with the extender and the straps are spaced too far apart and it feels like it is going to drive me nuts. Im debating on exchanging it what do you think?

Yup. It's the same for me. I hate to say exchange it for the 38HH but no point keeping it if you can't comfortably wear it...
-
Thank you I will try one tonight
