Issue resolved
Strange bra, not strange size. Ingrid seems to be an odd fit for many people and I happen to be one of them. Wonderful otherwise (:
Original problem
Hello! This is my first Comexim bra and I will say I am absolutely over the moon by how beautiful it is and how well it fits in the wires! My issue is with the gore. It is super narrow and rests entirely on my right breast, which is probably about 1/2 to a full size smaller. I called my local bra shop and they recommended to go up another cup size due to the larger breast "pushing" the gore to the smaller one. Any fit advice? Thank you!

helpfulI would not go up another cup size, this looks like a beautiful fit. Your larger breast may be pushing the gore somewhat but you’re very close set too. Is it painful? If it’s not uncomfortable I wouldn’t worry about it. A lot of my bras fit like this too. If it is uncomfortable you could always try ordering future bras with a reduced gore so it’s slightly shorter.

helpfulWelcome to Bratabase!
@lcl0706 addressed it very well, but I would add that Ingrid is a difficult fit compared to Comexim's other bras. If you look through the fit requests, you will see Ingrid frequently. As someone who also has this bra, I am speaking from experience that while beautiful, it's not a good indicator of what Comexim has to offer in fit or comfort. I love Comexim, but Ingrid would be my least favorite for comfort and fit.Freya & Panache do tend to have wider set gores, so I understand why Comexim's narrow gore might not feel comfortable at first, but like lcl0706 said, you do have close set breasts & the gore actually looks perfectly spaced for you.

MamaPagan I racked through recent posts and you're totally right! I am excited to purchase more, I have to start replacing worn out bras and I'm happy/sad by it. Would you have any size recommendations for the Comexim Basic plunge bra? Thank you so much for your response!

I would suggest going with the same size. Aside from my ebb & flow tidal changes, the general size remains the same for me for Comexim. I've gotten a few rouge ones with a tighter band (Mint). or a smaller depth cup Florence & Chevron) & I have not tried their basic plunge yet, but I have been pleased with the plunge bras I have. One of my favorites is their Patricia deep plunge.

I would also suggest the same size. I have 3 Comexim plunges in a 60HH (Basic, Geisha and Charm), and I would say they all fit close to the same.

Tropical Garden was 1 cup size small compared to all my other Comexim purchases...., but there is some uncontrolled variation in their manufacturing processes. So, it is a bit difficult to predict, dimensionally, precisely what you will receive. Regardless, it will be well-crafted of high quality materials. :-)

lcl0706 thank you! it is not uncomfortable and I think I will custom order a shorter gore next time! I think you are right about not ordering the next cup size up, I think it would just mean more fabric bunching near the gore.
