Original problem
Hello again! My new bras came in the mail, and this one fit the best. It's uncomfortably tight, unfortunately, all the way around. As with all Panache bras I've tried, the center gore presses painfully into my sternum. On previous bras I've tried bending the wires to no avail. After half an hour of wearing this around the house, the lace and/or elastic under my arms had chafed the skin until it was red and felt raw.
It's so pretty, and it's so nice that I'm not spilling out of it, but I wish it was more comfortable. I guess I need help determining if this is a good style for me, and what I should be looking for in other bras I try.

helpfulFor me, Panache=Pain. Always has, always will. Their wires are just so stiff without flex…..ugh. That being said, my suggestion would be to not get Panache bras, period. If you are keeping this bra, I’d say try an extender on the band to make it more bearable. If the band is looser, the chaffing and gore wire dig should be less.
Pretty doesn’t have to hurt! There are many bras that are both comfortable and gorgeous. If you like the stretch lace on the cup tops, there are several options out there to try.
Curvy Kate: Ellace (I’ve never tried this one, but several on BtB have. Sovavosi could add some thoughts on this one as she tried a few of them.
Kinga: any semi soft. The Kinga semi soft style always has stretch lace on the top. The bottom of the cup has light foam lining for lift and support. Kinga wires are not quite as stiff as Panache, but are stiff.

Ewa Michalak: any SF or BM. Ewa’s SF and BM styles are unpadded and always have stretch lace tops as well. The BM is a softer/thinner material while the SF is thicker/firmer material for support. These are my “go to” bras and are basically all I ever wear anymore. The half lace BMs are my bra bliss-absolute bra perfection!!!! For Ewa, BMs are supportive but do have some jiggle to them while the SF is a firmer support. SFs give a bit more rounded shape and the BMs a bit more natural shape. Both keep the breasts fully separated but up front, so your breasts are not forced into the armpit like many brands.

helpfulThis band is too tight & the bra is too wide and shallow for you. I wouldn’t go smaller than a 30 band in anything except maybe Freya. I think you’d like Ewa’s BM cut a lot - I’d go browsing BTB listings for 65G, 65GG, 70G or 70FF & see how they work out. I disagree with the other used & I wouldn’t recommend Freyas half cups. They’re going to also be too wide and shallow.

helpfulI think the band is too small and the bra is too tall for you (comes up too high under your arms). Panache is generally not your brand because the wires are too wide, chose Freya, Fantasie, or Polish brands.
Also looking at your other posts, you might benefit from trying a different style. I am thinking half-cup bras, which will give you more room under your arms. Freya has some very popular half-cups, you might want to try them!

Hi, I'm just curious why you describe this bra as too wide for her. (I'm still learning.) I thought in order for a bra to be considered too wide, the wire must extend past the breast tissue. However, it seems as if her breasts fill out the cup from wire to wire.
