Bra fitting help » Gore doesn't tack but top cup gap.
Comexim » Eve Full Cup Bra (46) » 75HH 34:9
This bra fits better than most others I have tried, but the gore still doesn't tack. I have mild pectus excavatum, but it seems a little worse than just that (see the photo of me leaning forward). I'm wondering if I should try one or two cup sizes up. I'm hesitant, though, since the top of the cup gaps a little. My boobs look a little folded (I guess this is lack of top fullness?). In the end I'm quite happy with the fit because it doesn't jam into my armpits like most bras do (high roots, immediate projection).

helpfulI feel like the gap is partly just the cups being too tall, but i dont feel like these cups fit you. Your boobs are being flattened and the bra is being held away from your body because it doesnt have enough space for your boobs. I think you need a lot more projection at the apex than these cups have

I'd add that Comexim wires are fairly soft, and I have yet to hear of anyone over an H cup that could get a tack with Comexim.
If you like the narrow wires, but want the gore to tack, look into Ewa Michalak bras. They are pricier than Comexim, but worth it IMO.

But comexim are not equally projected, either right? My 80M - Comexim » Coco (381) was deep enough when it fit me.
I was wondering if you'd tried any cleo, and I see a Lucy, but no review or measurements or pictures. When I was smaller, Marcie was an easy fit for me, but I mean, I was a UK j already, I think I fit Marcie in an HH tho

dbmamaz You are correct, Comexim projection is unpredictable, but can be custom ordered with deeper at the wire for more projection (both immediate and at the apex.) Comexim unpadded are less projected than their padded ones generally, but as a general rule, getting any of them to tack (aside from those with a very deep/low gore plunge) in a larger cup seems to be an impossibility due to size/height/gravity fighting those softer wires.

Thanks for the suggestion on the Lucy @dbamamaz. I did put basic fit info in, but then I sent it back. It hella didn't fit but maybe I need to size up a cup or three and try again. I figured it was a no go because the wires were way up in my armpits.

Oh, yeah, if the wires are too tall for you and the cups are too small, then panache probably wont work. hmm. I think I'm too far from your shape to have any good suggestions. I mean, yes, Ewa's usually have lower wires

helpfulWhere does the gapping occur, all along the cup or just where the strap meets the cup on your larger side? If the latter, that’s not really a fit issue, especially as you are short rooted. There’s no way to fill that corner.
I actually did get gore tack in size 90M in the Comexim deep plunge style (like Ginger). The wires were soft but I only have trouble with wires that are too tall in the center because my breasts touch in the center about 3 inches up from the band and are fairly firm for their size, so push wires that are resting on tissue away from my body.
This bra actually looks like a pretty good fit to me. As long as it’s comfortable it fits good enough for now.
If you want to try another Comexim, try a cup up (75J) but not a full cup style , as they are going to be taller in cut.

Thanks. That’s helpful. I have bought a bunch of used bras in the last couple of weeks that I need to measure and record. I found a Curvy Kate with wires that are so wide they don’t poke me that actually tacks. First time. I will also look for this style one size up but I agree it comes pretty close to fitting.

Thank you! Any suggestions on what I should look for in terms of measurements or styles in order to have more projection at the apex? Should I go up a cup size or look for a different shape? Sorry, I've had these boobs for nearly 40 years but am still trying to understand how they work!
