Issue resolved
Wrong bra for my shape
Original problem
Cup games at the top near the straps. Also, the cup fabric (not underwire) digs into the armpit flesh. Band is comfortable, although my measurement is closer to a 30.

helpfulThis gap looks to be clearly from being too tall for you. However, look at your breast in the side shot. This bra is covering your breast, but its not supporting it. Your breast should not fold down on your chest inside the bra.
Try looking at some Cleo bras - i dont think they are as deep and narrow in your size range as they are in the top of their size range (I've outgrown them, but Marcie was my first favorite) - you need a bra that fits your breast like a glove, not a bra that hides your breast without giving it support.

helpfulI agree with others that this is too small, too shallow and likely even too tight in band--Natori runs really small, as you can see from the unstretched measurement, which is similar to a 28 in many other brands. The bra is inching down on you as the cups and band alike are fighting to find a smaller, squishier place to rest! I also think the vertical pull-line type wrinkles in the mesh at the top of the cup reflect this downward pull as well as perhaps overtightened straps. If you had a better fit in cup and band alike I think the discomfort at the sides would be alleviated.
The Cleos suggested could also be a great idea. However, I've seen people manage to get an ok fit in the Natori Feathers by simply sizing up. I would definitely try 32DD, 32DDD and 34D-DD before giving up on it, if you like it (this "contour plunge Feathers" is in fact the same model sometimes known as just "feathers" I believe--check the tag but it should say 730023). If none of those work, definitely try other Natoris and Wacoals, as they do make innumerable deep plunges. It's just that this one, despite its popularity for its cleavage-squished-together properties, is not an easy fit for people with a little more breast projection.

helpfulThe gaping you're experiencing near the straps could be caused by your projected breasts pushing the cups (which are much too shallow) out and away from your body. I can see that the wires are sitting much lower than they should be, which will probably happen in this bra no matter what due to the shape mismatch. However, in a well fitting bra, the wires should be sitting all the way up in your IMF (the crease underneath your breasts where they meet the chest wall) and you should scoop and swoop your tissue so it's fully contained within the wires with no skin on skin contact. Otherwise, your bras are going to sit on top of your breasts like a hat and won't actually provide any support.
In general, moulded foam cups like these tend to be wide and shallow, so I second the recommendation to try some more projected unlined bras like Cleo Marcie or Hettie.
