Issue resolved
I went up a band size and now 32D/DD demi bras have done the trick!
Original problem
besr For so far but there is a tiny bit of space at the bottom of the cup

helpfulIt looks like a pretty good fit! How does it feel? If it's comfortable over time it is a keeper.

helpfulThis is not abnormal on its own but you have recorded a cluster of fit issues (empty space at wire, gore digs in, top empty, side empty) that is fairly typical of a band that's too tight and a cup that MAY be too large (but can only be assessed when band is better suited. Natori in general runs tight and the Feathers runs notoriously tight. If you look at the numbers here, you'll see this is not even close to the optimal band length for someone whose ribcage expands to over 30" when you need to breathe. Some bra-wearers can wear a band smaller than their comfy measurement--but those are usually people with very well-padded ribcages and heavy busts, i.e. very curvy ladies. Your torso looks on the contrary very lean, so there's no question of a generous layer of fat able to be compressed here--it's all ribs, and they don't compress much. I measure smaller than you, am a bit chubbier around the ribs than you, and can comfortably wear a 34 in the Feathers although the 32 is ideal for me. I would put on an extender with this bra to check the cup volume, and if it's still ok, then sister size to 32DD. If the cup appears too BIG with an extender, 32D would be better. I suspect 32DD will be just right though.

helpfulIts a lovely color. I guess the cups look a bit too tall for you, and if you cant fill the bottom, it usually means its too shallow at the bottom for you. But I agree, keep it if you like it.

wendybien Thank you for the feedback, I went and tried on several bras today and 32D/DD was a lot more comfortable for me!
