Both band and cup seem to be a little too big.

helpfulBased on the photos, I would suggest keeping this size. Assuming the cookies are in? The gaping is so minor in the photos, I feel that even without the cookies, the cups would be too small in a cup size down. If you are not prone to quadding, you would still be able to wear a cup down, but the gore would float for sure. Ewa cookies provide less than half a cup of extra oomph (varies by size of course), so keep that in mind when assessing fit with vs without them.
How does the cup fit with two cookies in one side? Do the cups fit nicely then, or does it give quadding or gore float?
If the band feels unsupportive, you could go down a to a 60 band, in which case I would go with the 60G as sister sizing isn't exact with Ewa.

Okay! Since the gaping got worse with the 2 cookies, it tells me that the cups are too shallow/not projected enough, and not actually too small. If it was simply a too big cup, the second cookie would help, not make it worse. But that extra cookie is pushing the cups further off your breasts, giving the illusion of the cups being too big, they really are just taking the path of least resistance.
Going down in the cup may not solve the fit issue, in fact, it likely would make it worse since it would be less depth/projection in a cup size down. :-( -
*I edited my suggestion to remove the end smiley face since it does that wonky link instead of just adding the smile face. The rest of the content remains the same. : - D

MamaPagan You're the best! Thank you :)

You're very welcome :-)

May I ask when did you have the surgery? After my surgery I had gaping cups for at least 10 months.. it's just because the breaths are still so "hard" and need sooo much projection. I think you are good in this cup size for now, but if the band is riding up I'd recommend you a size 60 aswell. If you go up a cup in the 65 band the actual length of the bra will encrease (as there is more cup and so more cm, do you know what I mean?) So I wouldn't do that.
For me, I was the best in chp style, as they are not as high and didn't gap on me at all compared to plunge bras.
And I do recommend you BM style, as because of the stretch lace, the cups don't gap eather :) -
BronteBeach thank you :)
My surgery was just 2 months ago...getting softer every day.
I have ordered from EM directly, a HM, an S and a BM all in 65FF as per Kaska's suggestion...I'm game to trying anything and everything at this point :P -
Valid point BronteBeach. I've had my implants for 15 years so I forget those initial issues.

AprilGoulding I am so with you! I ordered sooo many bras the first couple of months!! At the beginning I found soft bras to be a more comfortable fit, as the wires stay in place easier! (Except for the chp, which just seemed to be MY bra :D)
You could also try all the nice nonwired bras (I like the Cleo lyzy) as there are no wires that can slip away due to the implants pushing everything away :D
But my best advice is: take what you think looks great and in what you FEEL good! At this point, for me, it's not that important to get a perfect fit, as everything is still going to change for a couple of months and you don't need the support as much untill a while in the future ;) so find what feels good :) -
Are you doing any kind of breast massage post surgery? I was looking up massages to see if I could increase my upper fullness and came across a video by a doctor who was demonstrating how to massage post surgery breasts. I don’t have implants so I’m only sharing what I saw, so take my comment with a grain of salt, but it seemed like the massages were to help transition into the end result breasts. Or something. I could try to find it, though maybe it’s something that you are already doing?

I never do massages but I used this on my breast muscles (and still do when I feel like it or after sports) and I LOVE it! (So does my flatmate who didn't have surgery)

BronteBeach how did/do you use it on my breast muscles?
-
I just "roll" it over the breast muscle :D
-
Thanks. Does it hurt with the spikes?
-
No! It's just like a massage ball :)

helpfulYou'll probably never get a good fit in this bra. The problem is the shape, not the size. The PL style ist somewhat pointy, made for deep breasts with narrow and low roots and doesn't offer enough space for upper and inner fullness.
If you want an EM bra, try the CHP or the BM style.Updated on December 31, 2018 Flag this

thank you. ive since had success with bm, sm, hm and chp styles. S seems to be a no-go, hence i am still hunting for a good padded bra with a v-shape neckline.

You could try the old version of the Freya Deco or the CK Roxie if you find one.

MamaPagan I've added photos with 2 cookies in one side as well as no cookies. Still gaping. I think going down to 65FF will be best. I'm not keen on ordering 60's :/
