Bra fitting help » Worried if this will continue to fit correctly
Freya » Hero Side Support Balcony Bra (1842) » 34HH 34:12
Issue resolved
Returned the bra.
Original problem
I *think* this fits but there's some wrinkling at the wires and it's giving a very different shape than I'm used to. I'm feeling nervous about believing bras fit after the 34J - Elomi » Etta Bandless Bra (8840) that seemed to fit and then the gore started sticking out.

helpfulI have not tried this bra but I did own an Etta which did the same thing to me. Here’s what you can do to see what might happen. First, is the band as tight as the Etta? After one wear how do the wires of the Hero feel in your hands? Are they still straight, or are they curved? Permanently bent back and wider than the first time you measured them? If you notice a big change in the wires after one brief wear, you will probably experience the same wire deformation you got with Etta.
Re: the shape and fit, this looks pretty good. The wrinkles you see at the center are because there’s not enough center room which is a problem I have too. For me it generally causes my gores to ride down and dig into my high stomach. It’s why I tend to choose plunges over balconettes.

helpfulIt looks like a great fit to me, but unfortunately there is no predicting the long term durability of this model to know if it is prone to warp with wear. :-/
How does it feel on? Is it comfortable and supportive? No rouge pains after a few hours of wear? I would say if it is comfortable without pains, and feels supportive, it's a keeper. Plus it does look great on you!Updated on December 19, 2018 Flag this

Then I would say it isn't a keeper. Pain is not a good trade off, even for a pretty bra. Sorry. :-(

I know! It’s so close but not quite.

It is so frustrating, isn't it? I do hope your next bra fits beautifully and is pain free. <3

With longer wear the top of the gore starts digging in. There’s at least an inch more of breast tissue above the top of the bra.
