helpfulI think it's time for you to get a new bra. I also doubt that your ribcage measures 47". Try this calculator, and it will be easier to find the right bra when you know your size. http://sizemapp.com/en/

You're welcome! I found it to be very accurate, so it might be worth it to try the size it gives you.

I have tried the size that it gave me. I never found a 28E that had big enough cups. I even had 30DD panache tango pure broke my heart selling it was painfully small. I think a 32 would of worked 32 DD or 30E so far 30E has been the tiniest. I just love my Lucy 28G and my mimi 28F. I could see me taking a 26 F in my mimi cause the band fits w/o an extender. Also depends on the brand. Shallow breasts maybe. ShaniSunAZ knows a lot about shallow breasts!

I am going to try a couple of 28E's because every bra is so different.

I'm not sure if you need 38DD or 38E, It does make your boobs quite wide apart .Updated on July 27, 2013 Flag this

helpfulThat center gore (the part between the cups) looks way too wide for you. The cups look too small, and that band is as dead as can be. Does your bra have underwires? I can't tell from the photo.
I don't know anything about Maidenform bras, but they are sold just about everywhere.
Unfortunately Maidenform is a brand with very limited size options. The only size option that's smaller is 34DD...
Please remeasure yourself, because there are so so many more comfortable options for you when you begin to wear accurately sized bras.

You know what I noticed also from some fit problems I had earlier today is the when the straps are too far apart you need to try to make your bra fit like a halter. You can be in the right size and have it not even look like it if the straps are so far apart that they are causing the cups to almost fold on the bottom. I will show you a picture if you want. Also it's the pictures for the 28F Mimi Holliday I am wearing it. Looks like it doesn't fit at all. and then I clipped the straps behind my neck and it didn't look like the cups were wrinkling/folding or like the band doesn't fit or something. One of the 28 bands I have that I can actually wear w/o an extender. OH my gosh ShaniSunAZ! You are on to something again. This bra looks like a bikini top seriously. I'm wondering also does this have underwires?

helpfulAs far as the back goes, I think you need a wider band. That's helped me a lot.
