Issue resolved
Just not the right shape for me
Original problem
Sorry for the incredibly poor lighting on the new photos! Yesterday I submitted a fit request. Jillsas suggested that the tight band pulled the cups too much to my body, causing the straps to fold under my arms.
Today I took pictures with the band on the loosest hook, to illustrate the difference. I also loosened the straps about 7 cm.
I think there is a difference.Do you? The problem is, even with the curling into the armpits, I think the cups look better with the band on its tightest hook...or maybe that's just what I'm used to?
I know without the doubt these cups are too large for me. What I'm trying to analyze now is how the band fits, so when I order a different size I'll know if I should keep the band the same, just wear it looser, or order a 70?
The first 3 photos, top left, are with the loosened band. The next 4 are from yesterday, with the band tightened all the way. I tried to place them so the top row is today, and the bottom row is yesterday.

helpfulI hate the way EM handled strapgate, but I'm inclined to agree with them. Since their cups aren't graded, a tighter band will in fact pull the straps in the armpit area. My guess is that you should try a 70C. You could try a 65D but I worry that you'll have the same problem (though it won't be as bad). Bare in mind that sizing down will narrow the wires. If they're good now, than the bra isn't for you. If you can, try the PLs. They do wonders on shallow breasts. I own one, I have shallow breasts, it's a size too big, but it didn't show nearly as badly as my CH that was a size too big because it has less projection. I believe they have some PL Toffiks around still, though I do not know if they'll have any in your size or sister sizes.

One more question: Is the center gore too low? It's seems very "plunge-like" to me, and I know plunges have never been a good choice for me.
Thank you Jillsas - you are now officially my Bra Guardian Angel.
After decades of wearing bands that were too big, I habitually hook my bras on the tightest hooks. It wasn't until after reading Jillsas's comment this morning, and scrutizing my own photo, that I noticed how wrinkled the band looks!
Today I hooked the band on the loosest hooks instead of the tightest and I'm surprised at the difference in made in the gaping! (I know, probably "Duh".) Plus - the straps, while still wider set than what I would choose, sit more in front of my armpit rolls, rather than folding into them. When I loosened the band everything sort of "settled" and the whole fit is better, and it looks very different. It's not as "push-up" like; it's more like regular support with cup coverage. I'll have to update my photos because there is a noticeable difference in how the bra fits. It's not as "sexy" as it looked when tightening up the band, but that's just fine. ;)
I do think the cups are too big though. The band is perfect, and I LOVE the wires...and the tall sides...so much. The exact same thing happened to me with my Cleo Alexa in 28E. Except for the cups, the bra fit like it was tailored for me, but the lace at the top of the cups gaped badly. I was able to alter those cups easily, though, because it's an unlined bra. I have a Juna in 28E, and while I consider it a decent fit, the sides and the wires aren't as supportive and shaping as Alexa's.

If you look at CHs on the smaller EM models, they are more plunge-y.
Actually, if you can try an HP (how could I forget about that!?). They have tall wires, taller center gores than plunges, and they work better on shallow breasts. It's hard to fit a CH without projection.

All EM models except for HM, I think, get lower gores in the smaller sizes. Even CHP (which is a horror for our shape, by the way) looks like a deep plunge.
Anyway, you could indeed try sizing down in the cups. From a compilation chart I made some time ago I noticed that the wires don't really get any narrower past a certain point. HOWEVER, they do get shorter and the wings get lower -- which may not exactly be what you want ...
As to the band: to me the loosened band looks tons better. If it doesn't ride up or otherwise misbehave, I'd say stick with it :)
Even though at the moment I don't have a good fit in any EM style, I personally prefer CH over PL for my shape as I tend to spill out of PLs, a problem I don't seem to have with CH.

helpfulCould you move the straps in and solve the problem? I've heard many women need to move the straps for EM to fit them, there are tutorials out there. Sorry I can't help more, I don't know a much about this brand.

I'm agree with Jillsas, the cups are too big for you in this size even though the underwires seem to fit. Sizing down to 65D/70C could resolve your strap issue but it's also possible that the underwires will be too narrow. You have to try to be sure. I had to go down one cup size in the HM style and I was also afraid of narrow underwires but they're actually ok:)
I had CH Toffik in 65F (know I wear 65E in EM) and I had the impression that the cups were a little bit more closed on the top than in other CH bras and I think that it could be a problem for you if you size down to 65D. However, CH Onyks or CH Biszkopty are very open on the top and they could work better for you.
Concerning the PL style, on some breast they run smaller in the cups, you could try this style in 65DD or 70D (they are often very tight, much more than half cups) or the new 3D / 3DM style with a full band.
