Issue resolved
Giving up on this one. Going on a hunt based on wire widths that have worked for me in the past.
Original problem
This one came to me in not the best shape, which may be the source of some of the issues? If I were to invest in another Fantasie Kara, which size should I go for? Or should I just give up on this style?

helpfulMy vote goes to wires being too wide, cup not as deep as one might wish, and band too tight. Does that sound like a plausible explanation for the way it feels on your body?
It's fairly typical of people with projected boobs to have to size up (and up and up) to get more depth, but then end up in wires that are redonkulously too wide for their anatomy.
Based on bras that have fit you in the past what is your optimal wire width and cup depth?

But do you feel like you would like to trade some of that width for depth? Do you feel like some of the bras on here are a wonderful fit despite technically being marked "didn't fit" due to the Bratabase questionnaire?
To me a key indicator of someone who would benefit from deeper and narrower cups is that her current bras do not tack, or not well. Or when you do get bras that tack and do not quadboob, then those bras also have wires that seem to go too wide on the sides of your body, and/or they fail to give you much of any uplift.

My 34J Panache Arizas and 30JJ Jasmine tack, but the wires stab my sides. I think because they're too wide?
-
Probably. I'll go take a look! (The other possibility is being too narrow but then you can probably tell the difference between stabbing your boob, which is what too-narrow wires do, and stabbing your sides, which is the sign of too-wide wires.)

OK, only one of those (Ariza) has a side pic, but said picture does make me think the wires are overshooting the edge of your breast tissue by a couple of inches. Not sure about the Jasmine but as it was a 30 band, the wires may have been pulled back way too wide regardless of real width.
Have you tried any Polish bras yet?

I haven't been able to get my hands on any, no. I've just been admiring them from afar.

Here's what I'd advise: I'd look back over your bra experiments and note which bras had wires that seemed like they closely matched the root of your breast (even if there was also mad quadboobing) and look at their cup width. Then do a search by measurements on this site with that cup width, a stretched band length of 35 or whatever is your usual most comfy length, and a cup depth that is a small, but good step up from the depth you've been working with so far (say 15.5", because then the Search feature will show you bras with a depth ranging between 15 and 16 inches). That should show you what's out there--which sizes, in what bras-- that could provide a starting point for experimenting with deeper and narrower cup shapes. Of course before you order you want to also read the reviews of other users in that size range and see if the bra usually works in that size range, or if it is a crapshoot or a poor design outright.

Will do! Thanks for your help!

You're welcome :-)
I've never had a bra that technically fit according to the site, but the wire widths on my most comfortable bras were around 7-8 inches. The cup depth on most of the bras I've had is around 13-14 inches.
