Bra fitting help » Do Strapless Gores Need to Tack?

Issue resolved
It seems to me I have too much projection for this bra. I couldn't get it to stay up regardless of how tight a band I went with.
Original problem
Gore doesn't tack. Not sure if that's normal for a strapless, or maybe for the construction of this bra.
Smidge of quad-boob.
Doesn't stay in place, slides down. Even though the band is definitely snug.
Cup size up? Band Size down?

helpfulI think your breasts are forcing the cups to push outwards making the band feel tight and maybe pushing the cups down. I have the Deco shape strapless in a 28FF. It is about two cupsizes too small and the band is two tight but it stays in place so I will rock it. Hopefully more of these lovely ladies can help you out.

helpfulYes most strapless bras are supposed to sit on your chest wall. But this one in particular is not designed with wires in it - it has a large plastic panel that is used to hold your breasts up.
If you feel it, the middle does not actually curve in a way that would allow it to sit against your chest unless your breasts were pushed right into your armpits! It has this middle gap to allow your breasts to sit more centrally - it is designed to hold your boobs in a cleavagy shape.
I think that this is quite a good size on you.Updated on September 4, 2013 Flag this

helpfulI know nothing about this particular style's construction, but that bra is way too low on you. It also looks small in the cup.

helpfulYes, it should. Otherwise it will just slide down. If the cups were bigger that might help, so that your breats sat in the cup, above the underwire. It could also be this Wonderbra style,it has a habit of not tacking on many people.

helpfulI ordered a 32FF instead (and bought some 4 hook extenders just in case). Waiting for that to arrive to see if it works better.
