Bra fitting help » Seems to fit on Side but can't find one that lays flat in middle and doesn't dig
Cleo » Neve Moulded Plunge T-shirt Bra (7086) » 32F 32:7
Issue resolved
I got confirmation on my concerns about the bra and some new styles to try.
Original problem
I've tried on about 30 bras since I remeasured myself as a 30FF. Most of the 30FFs I could find have either too wide of cups (ie there was wrinkling on the sides because my breasts didn't go far enough) or too tall of cups (fits in the bottom but wrinkles at the top). The 30 bands were also so tight I found myself ripping off even the best fitting in an hour.
My breasts are also extremely close together so I've had a hard time finding a gore that doesn't dig into my breasts and sits flat. I got the Cleo Juna Balconette before in 30FF and that was the only one to sit flat but it hurt way too much!
Anywho on to this bra. Due to the closeness I decided to try a plunge. Again the 30 was just too tight for me so I tried 32F. The band seems to fit perfect on the middle hook, but the gore does not sit flat. Is this an okay fit?!

helpfulNot truly. A new bra should always start on the first hook. As the bra ages and the elasticity relaxes, you'll need those other hooks to maintain a good fit. But if you've been through that many bras and this one doesn't doesn't hurt or need constant adjustment to stay put, you're better than when you started.

helpfulWhen you have the option, I would suggest to buy a smaller band size and use an extender rather than buy one that is too big on the loosest hook.
The cups on this bra don't appear to be a good fit, they look like they are too shallow, there is empty space in the bottom of the cup and much of the underwire isn't touching your chest. It seems like you wouldn't get any lift/support from this bra, the cups are just kind of sitting on your chest.
It seems like plunge bras would be the best option for you, just not this plunge. If you haven't already, I'd suggest trying the Parfait Jeanie or Casey.

helpfulIf you're happy with the shape and comfort, I would keep it.
