Issue resolved
Returned this bra.
Original problem
The cups on this bra are way too open on me, which was a disappointment because I had such good luck with the Meg and this is supposedly the "same" bra. (http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dl4bp/)
I'd like to try the Cleo Zia next. Does anyone know what the fabric of the Zia is like? Is it firm mesh (like the Meg) or more of a soft floppy fabric (like the Olivia and the Lucy)?

helpfulThey are all similar cuts, but not exactly the same. If I'm recalling correctly, bras like Olivia, Alexa, Marcie are more open. Haven't tried Meg but I heard it's relatively deep? Zia is more closed in on top, and I personally found it similar in fit to the Lucy, although the Lucy is a lower cut. With Zia I had gaping if I leaned over but quadboob when I breathed in, so I would say the fabric is pretty stiff up top. Lucy was more of a smooth line on me. Natasha is really really similar to Zia, but just a hair more open, nowhere near Marcie.

Thanks for adding that, because I was about the try the Marcie next!! If it's anything like the Olivia, I am definitely skipping it! Lucy I love, as well as the Meg, so I will probably give the Zia a shot.
Oh and yes, I have indeed found the Meg to be a hair deeper than the Lucy and actually all my Cleo bras so far (Jude, Maddie, Jo). -
Seconding Vee's recommendation of the Cleo Lily Balconnet Bra (7531) - if you get on with the Meg then you should love it. It does run a bit smaller in the cup than the Meg though, so you might want to go up a cup size.

helpfulAs far as I've read and seen, Olivia is an Alexa, and they simply run bigger in the cups than most other unpadded Cleos (besides being cut more open). I guess Zia could work better (but I haven't tried it on myself or ever seen it in person).
I have tried on all of last season's unpadded Cleos, however (although I haven't put them all onto Bratabase), and I'd say Bella's and Melissa's fabric are similar to Meg's. Lana is made of softer fabric, and Marcie's fabric is comparable to Lucy's. On my boobs, Bella is most similar to Meg if I remember this correctly, or at least the upper part of the cups is similar, because they both have firmer mesh there and not just lace. I think Bella leaves a bit more room at the top, though. If you don't like that, Melissa might be better for you - or Zia, of course. From what I've seen, I'd also say Lily is your best bet if you want a bra that is very similar to Meg.
(Meg fits me fine, Lucy's top cuts in, Bella fits okay, but not perfectly, Melissa fits fine, but the thinner material wrinkles a lot on my boobs, Lana and Marcie fit me best.)Updated on October 27, 2013 Flag this

helpfulThat's interesting that the Lucy was floppy on you. It has a pretty firm edge on most people. Could it be a size issue in that case?
I've heard that the Zia's on the more open on top side, but don't take my word for it since I don't have any personal experience with that.
The Chloe seemed to have a firmer edge from what I've seen.

Actually the Lucy isn't floppy when on me; I just meant that it feels like a much softer fabric to me whereas the Meg feels firm almost to the point of being stiff. I am thrilled with the way my Lucy and Meg fit. :-)

helpfulHave you tried adjusting the straps shorter? I know a lot of women complain about baggy cups and then it has been solved by simply adjusting them short enough You shouldn't need to adjust them so short that they hurt your shoulders though. Maybe a shitty advice but heck, that's all I could come up with looking at these pictures. Let me know if that's the issue, if not, please to try to explain the issue further

I just want to add Lilly to the list. It's a new kind of fabric for Cleo, very soft and comfy mash, I find it by far superior to any other Cleo I tried. And Lily would also work for your shape, as well as Natasha. Zia might even cut in.
But worth a shot, just stay clear of Alexa, Chloe and Marcie.
