Bra fitting help » Orange in a glass and wires digging into ribcage
Panache » Sienna (4471) » 34K 34:15
Issue resolved
I learned that because of the shallowness and wideness, I'm best giving up on this bra and trying the Andorra or Jasmine.
Original problem
The two main issues are mentioned in the title. Also, the gore doesn't quite tack. Would this work in another size, or is the shape just not right for me?

helpfulThe Panache Sienna (4471) is quite shallow. To me the cup actually looks to big on you, but the style is too shallow, so I don't think you'll get a perfect fit no matter what. I'd look for bras with narrower wires and more depth, tight 36s and loose 34s, likely in 34JJ or 36J. It's hard to tell what your shape is. Some brands that have more depth like Bravissimo (not their half cups though), Fantasie, Elomi, Goddess, etc... will likely work better on you. Panache, tends to be shallower, with some exceptions, including the Panache Tango Ii Balconette (3251) and the Panache Fern (6291) tend to have more depth than their other shapes.

In larger sizes Fantasie seems to have weaker wires. What were your particular issues with Fantasie?
-
A bit of spilling over the top, gore not tacking, along with the cups feeling a bit too wide and also the orange in a glass issue.
-
Yes,that wire looks way too wide for you.

It's too wide and too big, but as it is a shallow bra Jillsas is correct, you may not get a good fit in it I would try it in a smaller cup size to see how that works for you. I *don't* see the orange in a glass happening here.
I also disagree that the Tango II has more depth than other Panache offerings. I found it to be very shallow. The Jasmine and Andorra are deeper. http://rockthecurves.00goddess.net/2011/12/bra-review-panache-tango-ii/
Unfortunately, I have found that in large sizes Fantasie wires are very weak. But different Fantasie bras can fit very differently. You might want to try a side-support model, they are usually more roomy at the top. The weak wires can stop the gore from tacking though.

helpfulJust mentioning that this does not look like Orange in a glass, but more like a too big cup with lots of empty space on the sides.
Next bra to try should have the wire measurements of a bra that's at least 2 cups smaller than this, but I agree with Jillsas that this bra will not work, as the top of the cup is too close for your shape, so the smaller size will just make you quad.Updated on November 3, 2013 Flag this

Does the center gore feel too wide like it is cutting or laying on your breast tissue? It looks like it might be. The straps look too wide set on you too. I am still learning about bras so I dont know how to help .

The gore doesn't feel too wide, but that might explain why it doesn't tack. The straps do feel too wide, this is a very common problem for me.

Yes, I've already learned the hard way about Bravissimo's half cups. I've tried two Fantasie bras in 32JJ and 32K, neither of them quite worked. I've got a Tango II on the way from another user, I'm hoping it works!
