The bra fits!
Original problem
The model # for this bra is 5490 not 5430
This bra fits me as well as any that I have tried lately. still I am not sure that it fits me well as it should? note that I have had a lumpectomy on my right breast for BC.

helpfulIt seems a bit loose, but nothing too awful, but I don't know what your exact needs are in a bra. Do you need a looser fit for your own comfort? Does this feel comfortable? Otherwise I'd say it has all the signs of a good fit. Is there something you'd prefer in a bra (like a certain shape, certain colors and designs, certain materials)?

I have said very little about the size of the cup because I don't feel like I can comment on it because your arms are down (the best position for photographing your breasts for fit is your arms akimbo rather than down).

helpfulDo the cups seem too small? Do they feel too small?? I ask because your breast perimeter is 17 and the cup depth is 12.5. if the cups are too small it will smash your breast tissue into your back and into your armpits. if the cups are too small it can make the band feel too tight also. I think you got the band size right but I think the cups might be too small.

I agree that this could be a concern, if there's any discomfort. Too small cups can make you feel like it's hard to breath. If your breasts are different sizes the cups should fit the larger breast.

Thanks for the suggestion That is what exactly is happing. Next time I buy this bra I will go up to GG.
-
Just so you know, Anita (and by extension Rosa Faia) does not make GG, this is technically a UK F, not G. Going up to an H would result in it being equivalent to about a FF.
-
Thanks for the information. I am not planning on buying another one any time soon anyway. H would most likely be to large.
-
If it's the next cup size up I don't think it would be too big. Maybe an inch more depth in the cups?
-
Jasminepetra Is that really necessary though? I don't see any side spillage or quadboob.

Thanks everyone for all the help. Even through I am in my 70's I am very physically active. Thus I need a firm fitting bra. This bra gives me the support I need plus it is very comfortable,I don't even know that I am wearing it. The best bra I have worn in a long time. It is very well made and looks like it will be durable. That said It is a keeper.

That's great! Glad you've found a good fit!

After all these many years I have come to realize there is no such thing as a perfect fit(a good fit maybe). It is all about what I am will to live with.
-
I still have hope for that. That being said, is there something bugging you about this bra since you mentioned that it's not perfect?
-
Jillsas, Bugging is a good choice of words! I am FOB so after I have had this or many other bras on for a few hours there is puckering in the upper cups. However there much less with this bra. It is because my side breast tissue doesn't stay in the cups it will work back out of the cups, which is not very comfortable. I feel a Bra rant coming on maybe after Christmas!

Perhaps you'd do well to try out some of Elomi and Goddess's bras. They have wide wires and they tend to work well on full on bottom breasts. Unfortunately, it looks like you're fairly shallow, so you might do better in some of their shallower stuff (which there's isn't as much of) like the Elomi Paloma (8420) and like cuts, as well as the Goddess Alice Underwire Full Cup (6041) (not sure about the soft cup).

Jillias, Thanks for the information. I now realize that the band my to large.
I have hooked in the middle row and it doesn't feel to tied. This seems to have solved the problem for now. The brand is rather stretchy. I have washed it twice,I may have to go down a band size, only time will tell. -
I recommend investing in an extender in case going down to a 36 band feels too tight when the bra is brand new.
-
I have failed to mention that I have lost a lot of weight in the last two 1/2years. I am still losing more although slowly. I have gone from 44 in. band to a 38 now and will most likely end up at a 36 or 34. My perimeter size has remained same. Plus the treatment for breast cancer has left my breast tissue much less firm. So you can understand my challenge.
-
I figured that's probably what happened. Have you read Braless in Brasil? She has very full on bottom soft breast tissue and she lost 80 pounds and breastfed two children (I believe she's still breastfeeding one). She has some helpful tips, though I'm not sure if they'll be useful to you because she has a smaller underbust and larger breasts (32KK at the moment).

Thanks, I have been on her web site very helpful.

helpfulI have this same bra and love it! it is very comfortable and I wear it daily. For me with it's soft stretchy cups it feels self adjusting as I go through my cycle. It does feel very supportive for me. I think it looks great on you!

Carli Thank,s for the comment. This is my every day go to bra, As you said my only compliant is that my large nipples show. Have since bought the same bra in 36 H.

At my age what I need is for good firm support first and comfort. This bra is very comfortable. I was thinking as you have said that one cup size up might fit better. It is more like an industrial strength bra.but I don't care about how it looks as much as how it works for me.
