Comexim » Basic Plunge Bra (170) » 75M 34:13
Issue resolved
I tried a bigger size (75N), but it did not work for me either.
Original problem
This is the first Comexim bra I tried. I love the shape this bra gives me and I think it doesn't fit that badly. The band is okay, I fasten it on second set of hooks. I don't find it extremely tight. I'd say cups are quite good for me. I get some slight overspill towards the centre when wearing it for a bit longer because my boobs are very center heavy. The gore floats a bit. I think, if I decide to order from Comexim directly in the future I will ask for a taller gore. I'm not sure If I should also go for one cup size up? Or would a taller gore solve the overspill issues?

helpfulWoohoo! This looks way better than the EM plunges I've seen you try! Cup grading- it really works. The height, width, and depth (and strap placement!) seem to all be really good, and I think it's just the lack of height in the gore letting you down.
When you push in the gore to lie flat against your sternum, do you spill out? That's probably the best way of gauging whether or not you could benefit with a larger cup size, but my gut feeling is this is going to be your best size with a higher gore. Super plungy bras tend to not work especially well I think on J cup + women, judging from what I've seen, as most of us have too much centre fullness to deal with both a low gore and a bra style which pushes you up and in.

I have worn the bra now for a few days in a row (Yes it's really that comfortable, I don't want to wear anything else) and I was a bit in denial about the size. When I push the gore flat, I get some slight overspill. I think it's about 1/2-1 cup size... It does not show thought when I wear the bra (since the gore floats).
Since I don't want to buy a too small bra, I think, I will try a 75N the next time. -
Wow- I'm pleasantly surprised that a plunge bra can be so comfortable. I've never had any luck with plunges, because my breasts are just too deep for them to play nice. Although I'm a bit deeper than you, it still makes me think that Comexim may be worth a shot if they'll make something in my size. Whatever that would actually be. (60P?, 60Q? ????????? I give up on my UK size, so figuring this out is even harder)
I'm not sure whether the next size up would be slightly on the large side for you, but it would certainly be worth having a comparision. If this is comfortable though, it may be your best size in the bra. I always figure that bra fit rules are guidelines to help you be comfortable, and if you're more comfortable stepping outside the guidelines (once you understand them) that's fine.

helpfulThis looks pretty good on you! It's kind of hard to know what to recommend because I'm pretty sure we have opposite breast types. I have no center or side fullness. A taller gore might help because it will keep things more separate so your breasts won't be spilling as badly towards the center right? I hope someone with more similar breasts can give better advice. That's what would make sense to me.

Haha, that's what I wanted to say too.
Also these measurements have me confused as it looks like I could take a 34K or 36J in this bra when I was gonna try a 90HH. O.o -
Thanks :)
SparkleDarkles Which measurements do you mean? -
The bra measurements, especially for cup depth and stretched band,I don't want a band bigger than 38" stretched.

helpfulAdding gore height to a Comexim plunge tends to also add a bit of depth, so I would not go up a cup size if you order a bra with a taller gore- it should fix a bit of overspill on its own!
**have tried on a 60HH with raised gore as well as lowered gore, as my point of reference for my opinion.

helpfulFirst let me say this bra does AMAZING things for you. The overall shape undressed as well as clothed is very very nice. Congrats on finding something that isn't a custom that seems to work so well and give you such a nice profile.
I agree with a previous poster: I would try a higher gore as I think this will ultimately keep you inside the cup as oppose to slightly spilling over in the center. I really need to try these bras out but am currently working on making custom bras for myself so my few purchases here will be my only ones for a while as I am pattern drafting and getting hq fabrics and findings.
I love it!!

helpfulthe fit is really good and I would not go down a cup size. In the future if you want to you could go up a cup size and then you would have less spilling when you press the gore flat and maybe the gore would not be pushed out so much. this really is a wonderful fit though!

Wow our measurements and breast shapes are almost exactly the same! (comparing what's here and here anyway http://www.bratabase.com/troubleshoot/dldfh/)
I really would like to see you try this bra in a half size up or with a taller gore so it's such a good fit. Amazing!

I think Ereshiy is spot on :) If you don't spill over anywhere when you push the gore towards you, this is the size you should be going for but with a higher gore :)
