Bra fitting help » bra with pokey underarm underwire and cup space
Cleo » Lucy Balconnet Bra (5851) » 30H 30:11
Issue resolved
I tried the 30 GG cup and that fit much better on the side and there wasn't much difference anywhere else in terms of fit, however i'm going to try the Marcie or Lily cut.
Original problem
The underwire is too high under my arms and there is a bit of space in the cup at the side that I can't fill.
Furthermore although the back strap sits OK I do think it rides up slightly... Please tell me how to fix these issues.

helpfulI imagine most of your issues are due to the wires not being narrow enough. Marcie, Lily, and their sister cuts all have narrower wires than Lucy. Cuts like Minnie and Lily are more closed on top so they might work better for your shape as well.

helpfulAlso shorter wires. You may have high set boobs/a shorter torso. Try looking at the wire length measurements on bras that don't poke you nd try to check that measurement on future bras. I know you said the top of the cup wrinkles but I don't see that. Honestly I wonder if the cups aren't a little too small and the wires are pushing away from your body. Is there a gap there? Honestly I think it might be too much bra for you. Just not right for you.

helpfulDoes the band feel secure? I might be wrong but it looks like there's tension in the hooks in spite of the u shape in the back. Perhaps it's how the band was cut?
Simply put, this is not the style for you, the Lucy is know for being wide and shallow. It looks like you need narrow to average width wires that are on the shorter side. It also seems like you might be full on bottom. Perhaps the Bravissimo Alana in either 32GG, 32H, 30H, or 30HH (I know it runs small, but so does the Lucy, and I don't know which one runs smaller) might be worth a shot? Like teremaailma said, the Minnie and Lily might be worth a shot too (or an old Meg if you can find one of those floating around, but only the orange one, it might be helpful for saving money).
