Original problem
Hi there!!
I am so happy with my two new bras: Cleo Zia and Bella in size 30DD, as I posted in Bra adventures, that story with my mom. I would like to ask for your help, again, but this time it is about my breast shape. I recently discovered good fitting bras, as I was always unhappy with my size and my "usual bras". I thought that time, that maybe I haven't taken my measurements right and maybe this is why the bras looked awful on me. So, I asked someone for helping me to find my chest shape and it looked like I have even to FOB breasts ( I showed her in pictures). I think the same, or I thought until I put on the Bella bra, which I know, it's more open on top than Zia.
Bella fits me almost perfectly ( minus that minor underwire thing I talked about in the review http://bra.pe/XIWr/ and one more thing I forgot to mention: in the pictures it's not visible at all, but the top part of the cup, under the armpit (fat) area where I have that crease, is a little loose- just where it is sewn edge..I don't know what this means as I tighten my straps as they should be and the side cup is filled entirely...just that hem doesn't tack the skin).
The Zia is creating a slight wave on the lace part without making my boobs to spill over the cup and without being that top part left empty. As the outer edge of the lace is resting on my skin, it has a tendency to slip down a few mm, maximum 1/2 cm. You can see it in my side pictures http://bra.pe/SDQw/ (especially in the last picture on my smaller boob....left boob=smaller one, right boob=bigger one).
I think it's not about the projection, that girl (I wrote about her in the beginning) told me I'm not shallow, and I think in this case I fill completely the cup (I checked).
So I wonder, maybe I am even to FOT or just even? As in the upright position, it seems to have slight bottom fullness and when I bend over at 90 degrees I have slight top fullness. What do you think?
Edit: I have posted the wrong link from Bella review. Now it's the correct one.

helpfulI honestly think the issues you are talking about--side edge not lying perfectly flat on skin and lace edge moving slightly-- are not a problem! To me, this looks like a very, very good fit except possibly for the height of the bra, but I don't even know if that is a real comfort issue or just an aesthetic one. All the things you mention are only a problem if they cause the bra to be uncomfortable; otherwise, since these things are not visible when you're wearing clothes, as long as the bra feels nice and comfortable, it seems like it is still a good choice for you.
In terms of shape... Judging from these pictures I really wouldn't be able to say if you are FoB or FoT or even. IF you are either FoT or FoB,, it's only a very slight dominance, and not really something that should have a huge influence in your choice of bras.
I'm assuming you are a young lady (since you talk about your mom so you should know that teenagers and younger women almost always look at least a little bit fuller on top, just because the skin and breast tissue is still very firm compared to other women. It's not a true imbalance between the amount of breast tissue on top vs. bottom, it's just that the breast does not sag yet and the skin is still taut. So if you are, let's say, under 25, it is normal that you would frequently see a tiny bit of overspill even in bras that fit you really well in all other regards. This is a problem that I used to have very frequently when I was young, even though I wore well-fitting bras, but now I am 35 and have had two babies, and believe me, nowadays it never happens unless the bra is just too small for me!
I was also a bra perfectionist as a teen/young woman and wanted to have ZERO OVERSPILL NO LINE NOTHING JUST A SMOOTH SHAPE. It had to be 120% perfect lol. So I would try on 30 bras to find 2 that I liked. I don't advise you to be crazy like I was, but just as a tip, I think a reasonable test would be if the line can be seen when you are wearing a tight tee shirt. If it can't be seen with a tight shirt, then it's good enough to buy!

Glad to help! I think no question is silly on this site :-) So many fit factors to learn about, and sometimes it's hard to know which ones apply to us.

Yes, especially for a newbie like me :D. I'm really happy that we can share bra knowledge here. Thank you a lot again! I'm going to mark this request as resolved :)

helpfulI don't know if you're even or FoB but I would say you in no way look FoT to me. Every woman is going to have some kind of filling at the top when they bend over. But I'm FoT (and have soft breasts) and when I bend over my boob feels like it tries to fall out the cup no matter how full coverage or not and I get quad boob for a moment.
Forgive me for being a bit ignorant about this, but I have no idea if the hem needs to tack the skin. Bras aren't tailored for us, so I don't see how they always could be. If you're filling the sides fine, it should be fine. It could also be that the bra cups are a bit tall for you is all. But if it doesn't cause discomfort, I wouldn't worry about it.
But looking at that last picture, I wonder if that armpit bit isn't migrated breast tissue: http://bustyresources.wikia.com/wiki/Migrated_breast_tissue Could be why the seam isn't tacking if the breast moved slightly upward. But that's just a total theory and I am not well versed on breast tissue migration. Wish I could be more helpful.

If I remember well, bending over was something like a method to find the fullness of the chest, which I read on a bra blog. This is why I mentioned it.I have't tried it with a bra on,just naked.
It's ok, because good fitting bras are new to me, so I have such questions about very small details that maybe they even aren't important. You gave me an idea as it maybe be the result of that armpit crease (the thing with that hem). I think I will find out,as time passes by,if that is breast tissue migrated.Maybe it's because I always used to wear smaller cups than I need. Thank you for your words! Don't worry,I like to listen different opinions.

helpfulI think you might just be even and have projecting breasts. At least, I have heard the Zia is good for projecting breasts and this was my experience too. I'm also FoT on the left and even on the right, for reference, and am very projecting (no moulded/padded bras for me...).

Hmm,if Zia is better for even breasts, and I fit perfectly in cups of Bella bra(link in the description) that may mean I am even with slight FoT on my larger breast? I wore until now a lot of shallow padded bras, the last one was a 65D (EU),and I was unhappy,it didn't fit me well in terms of depth and other things,so yeah, unpadded bras for me too.

That's possible and exactly what I have. My right side is pretty even while my left (and larger side) is even but is full on top to the extent that many typical 'FoB' bras cut in at the top.

Really interesting to have both the same shape!:D

There is no reason for her to that I can see. Unless she scoops extra breast tissue into and suddenly has quad boob.

wow! Think that 30 band is perfect for me,32 would be too large and the cup is perfect, just the slight wrinkle there.I put my bra very well and you can see no quadboob. My issue is about my boobs shape,I wrote it in the description with a lot of details and pictures with me in two bras:Bella and Zia.

Recently, I posted another bra Freya Arabella 28E( I am writing from mobile now and I can't figure out how to paste the link, I will add it later) where the boobs are visible.I think I will update that review because the fit became strange. Anyway,I think you are right, they are firm and have self-support as I am 21 years old. You really helped me a lot sharing your experience, I had maybe silly questions because I started just a month ago to wear good fitting bras. The bras are comfortable, don't move and look great underneath clothes, so...now, I'm not doubting anymore. The bra height it's fine I guess, it doesn't bother me and I wore them almost a full daytime.
Thank you very very much!! I am really glad you helped me, I have calmed down and I will do the t-shirt test!
