Bra fitting help » Molded bra buckling. Too large or too small?
Panache » Porcelain Plunge (3371) » 34H 34:11
Issue resolved
I am convinced that the molded bra was a mistake. Two larger projection bras also worked betetr.
Original problem
Bra buckles unless my posture in perfectly straight and my shoulders are back.

helpfulI had this happen in a similar bra and it was cause it was too shallow, especially at the bottom.I think you need a bra with more projection.

Going by your measurements and the cup depth and photos,I don't think it's too big for you,one cup size too big at the most. But the wrong shape can look too big and too small at the same time.I've tried bras that had the exact same cup depth and some looked too small or too big depending on shape but once I got into the right shape...it fit just right. My breast perimeter is 12.5-13 inches and that's what I normally look for in cup depth,I'm not exactly that firm tissued or full on top either. It does vary what one needs in cup depth but in an F cup it would be about 11 inches cup depth and you'd have 3 inches of each boob spilling out!At least in a plunge style. For a more open on top cup style it may work to size down to a 34GG.
Ewa Michalak and Comexim are usually the brands people go to for more projection.I'm sort of wondering if the Cleo Marcie (6831) would work for you, though. -
Thanks again for your help and suggestions. I will check out the brands you mentioned!

Thank you so much for your help. It seems I'm looking for more or less the same bra. I have yet found a bra that really works. I, too, prefer white, beige, or nude. I am also looking for a narrow cup, preferably around 6".

Maybe try an S bra?Ewa seems to run smaller in some styles, especially the S from what I've seen of it,I'd need to go up like two cup sizes, maybe even three.
Looking at the measurements,I think you'd need a 34JJ or 75JJ,but read reviews and look at measurements to decide for yourself.I found reading a lot on here to be helpful. Some people find Ewa plunges to work well for them when other plunges won't,they will often make you a custom one if you ask, with a fabric they have in stock.http://www.bratabase.com/browse/ewa-michalak/s-grace-458/

Maybe even an SM if you like lace.

helpfulI can't speak to the shape just yet, although Sparkle may turn out to have a point (you'll be able to judge when you have found the best size for you). To me the most obvious issue here is that it is FAR too big. At least 2 cup sizes, probably more like 3. What you're seeing is not so much cup cutting into the breast... it's breast falling right out of the cup because it is floating around in there!
Bear in mind that Panache is a British brand and British sizing is different from what we use in the US for instance, or in France, Belgium, Italy etc. The British H cup is like an American J or K cup. In Panache, for you, I'd try an F cup and see how that feels.
I'm guessing you are using the size Bratabase suggested for you? Personally, I find that it vastly overestimates my cup size due to the fact that I have soft, rather pendulous breasts. The size calculators that require bra-less measurement tend to do this... They are more accurate for firm, perky bosoms. Bratabase and the ABraThatFits calculator both overestimate my size by 3 entire cup sizes!

Thanks for your comments. I agree there is surplus volume in the upper part of the cup near the strap (indicating the cup size is too large, I'm over-flowing in the bottom half of the cup. I like the shape the bra gives me but I suspect I need to find a different design.

Overflowing at the bottom, as you put it, happens lot in plunge bra styles if you have close set breasts with a lot of center fullness. The low, short little gore doesn't come up high enough to separate the breasts so they just topple into one another. You may want to look at demi or balconnette styles! Plunges and full cups rely a lot on accurate vertical fit for support; if your breasts are shaped in such a way that they can't be supported by the gore and the upper half of the cup, they're little better than hammocks.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will look at Demi's and balconette the styles.

helpfulIt looks like you're wearing it a bit low. What happens if you pull it up?

I tried pulling it up a bit, but it didn't seem to help. Thank you for your advice.

helpfulI am not too sure what is going on here, your t-shirt covers up too much and the angles are less than ideal. Please see this example for the kind of pictures we need: http://imgur.com/a/S3EWD
That said, I think both SparkleDarkles and wendybien could be right.
But just in case the bra is just too shallow and the size is correct, I would recommend the Elomi Amelia or the Fantasie Smoothing 4510 to you.

Thanks for your suggestion. I suspect you are right. Any suggestions? Going up a size will make the problem worse.
