Issue resolved
Keeping it! Thanks.
Original problem
I just got this Ewa bra! It's my first one and I am really pleased overall. I have a Marcie in 30J and that is the only other bra that fits right now, but I was having issues with the cups not being deep enough.
Are these deep enough? Also, the straps are digging into my armpits where they meet the cup. Is this something i should worry about? The depth feels right and the cups do, too. The band is still slipping down a little right under the cups, but i have always had this issue with my bras.

helpfulThe straps are digging into your armpits where they meet the cup - I get this a lot. I'm thinking it's because the straps are too wide and your breasts are probably high set like mine, which means you shorten the straps a ton and then all the material starts cutting in. It's not something that can be solved without alterations. As I speak my damned Jasmine is digging in the same way and I'm of a mine to cut it lower, but it would take time.
I know this can be deceiving, but it COULD be that you could do with a cup size up, even if you aren't quad boobing. Sometimes when I get a floating gore and if there's any space between my underbust and the cups at all, it means the cup is slightly too small.
If you mean only that the band eventually slips down a little but the cups sit flush with your underbust area, then I get that too and I still don't know why that happens other than something to do with the inherent poor construction of bras for full bust women (small underbust, large bust) meaning there's not enough tension to keep it flush and up there. But that's another issue you can't do anything about that I know of at this time.
Either way, I'd say you could keep this bra as long as you feel comfortable with it. But I also got underwire poking in sizes that were too small in EM bras though how that makes sense I have no idea.

I hope that one day there will be. I really do understand what you mean. It sounds like the cups are OK but are you sure that the band is good if it's sliding down that fast? It looks good but only you know how it behaves over time.

I'm pretty sure the band is ok. I have even tried a really tight 30 band and it still slides down after a while...even when my boobs were a 30G they would do that. It's so weird.

helpfulWith the caveat that I'm not an EW expert and don't own any... this looks like an OK result. It may not be 100% ideal for you shape-wise since it looks like you could use less height in relation to depth; however, it fits as the designer intended, the cups appear to be holding their own under the weight of the breasts, and it will likely look good under clothing.
Sizing up would likely help with the gore and depth but would aggravate the width issues (such as strap placement) and the height issues. Also you might lose surface tension which can lead to the cup fabric crumpling under the weight of the breast, paradoxically leading to a loss of available cup coverage. It's a tough decision. Personally I'd stick with this size but your preference might be different.

Thanks for commenting! Yes, I agree. I thought about sizing up for the sake of a little more cup depth, but those other issues would definitely worsen. It's a pretty darn good fit for now, I think, and it's got much better depth than my Marcie, in which you can tell my boobs are getting pushed up against my chest.

Ugh, sounds like my size issues all over. That time where you really need a half cup up... I find that the SM bras have really firm support and good lift unlike my S bra experience. It just doesn't come in my size.

helpfulFrom the front pics it appears it fits but from the side view it appears about a half cup to a cup size too small. EM bras are wide set. I have altered a few and moved them in a cm or two. That may help but I think you may do better in a 70KK as far as cup volume.

Thanks. Those comments help a lot :) Yeah the center gore thing is weird. It definitely stays on my sternum at the top, but I feel like there is like too much space between the cups (like it's squashing my close-set breasts a teeny bit) in the middle part of the gore--so it's just not quite a perfect fit in that middle region. The very bottom of the gore where it meets the band and the underwires underneath my breasts DO tack--but then slide down a little. It's always an issue of too much space between! :P Golly gee, I wish there was a company that could make real custom-fit bras.
