Freya » Deco Hatty Moulded Plunge Bra (1281) » 38E 38:6
Issue resolved
I have plans to find a bra with a slightly bigger band and cup.
Original problem
Pokes under my arms, the strap rolls up, wire feels like it is poking into my side. Strap feels way too tight, and I don't like that the tightness causes my rolls to bulge. This bra was recommended by this site and is my first attempt at getting a bra that fits, would love to know where to go from here

helpfulI would guess you're a band size and a cup size too small.

helpfulFreya is typically not the best choice with larger band and/or cup sizes. You look closer to a 40F. In that size, your best bet is going to be Curvy Kate or Elomi.

helpfulI'm inclined to agree with Quixii on this. If your tight ribcage is over 39 and you can only get the band to stretch to 38, it's not going to be comfortable. I'm not sure what's available around your size range but I think you should try one or two cup sizes up and a band size up - maybe 40E or 40F. Do take this with a grain of salt because I'm much more comfortable giving advice around my own size.

helpfulI agree, this looks too tight in the band and too small in the cups. 40E, 40F seems like a good suggestion.
Have you tried Elomi bras? They target the plus size market specifically and seem to have a better sense of what they're doing in terms of designing for women in this size range. They are usually priced $60 US at full retail, and aren't too hard to find on sale.

I found a store about an hour from here that carries that line, so I will check it out
If you want a molded cup bra, I think your best bet will be Elomi Amelia in about a 40G.
