Issue resolved
First venture out of 32A Walmart bras/sports bras. But I still need a wider, more shallow cup. The search begins!
Original problem
I think I have more than a cup size difference in breasts, one has more fullness on top, the other is very shallow, but the tissue goes all the way up to my collarbone. So I get quad-boob on the shallow side (the lace helps disguise that)and the cup isn't big enough on the larger side so the bra shifts over to that side of my torso. Also, I have to keep it on the tightest hook to keep it riding up my smaller breast but that gives me a roll. I don't know if I need a larger, shallower cup that is more horizontal? Any suggestions?

helpfulI just think this is too small for you. I'm not sure about the unevenness in breast size, it's not really visible to me here--but you need wires which are wider than this and I don't think some extra depth would hurt either. Have you tried any 28Ds?

Most of the "full bust" brands do 28s starting at D. Sometimes they are stupidly designed though (28D is still a petite bust and their strength is more full bust support) so do some research to find out which are the more popular ones. You can definitely find a beautiful fit in this size range nowadays if you work on it though. Good luck!

Thanks. I'm not going to give up! I'm almost 30 years old and I'm tired of feeling like a little girl in sports bras! I just recently ordered a Fiore Lepel plunge, Betsey Johnson Eyelet demi, and Natori feathers counter plunge in 30d and 30c. We'll see which ones fit!

Ooh great choices! I hope you'll find a good fit in some of them. Don't worry, even if it takes a while to figure out what kind of construction and size you need, you will feel super glam once you find it!

helpfulYou can try a 30C. I measure between 26D/DD and the 30C fits me comfortably on the tightest hook.

helpfulYou may have a slight size difference but no more than anyone else, it doesn't appear to be a whole cup size. I agree that these bra cups look much too small and binding on you and the wires too narrow. Cleo and Freya make a bunch of bras in size 28D. If you are looking for a somewhat padded style I highly recommend the Cleo Maddie Moulded Balconette T-shirt Bra (7201) and the Cleo Neve Plunge T-shirt Bra (7196) . Both run somewhat shallow, especially the Neve.
Good luck in your search!Updated on May 7, 2014 Flag this

I haven't. This is my first time shopping for bras outside of 32a at walmart. Lol. TLBC only goes up to 28c, no d's, so I'm on the lookout...
