Bra fitting help » Cup too small and too big, cup depth?

Issue resolved
I just mailed the bra back for a refund.
So sad because it's probably the prettiest bra I've ever seen!
But onwards on my bra adventures lol!
Original problem
I want this bra to fit but it just doesn't and I don't know why.
It's like the cups are too small and too big at the same time, maybe it's too deep?
At the middle/top there is gaping and wrinkling but at the very top its tight and the bottom is filled great.

helpfulYes, wrong shape for you! Too narrow and deep.
Also double check the stretched length but if it is really only stretching to 27" this band is too tight for someone as lean as you, in my opinion. (as well as very weird for a 32!)Updated on May 7, 2014 Flag this

helpfulIt would seem you have shallow breasts, I have the same problems and it is frustrating finding a bra that fits well. I don't have a lot of suggestions on the fit, I will leave that up to the more experienced here. Here are some of the suggestions others have made for shallow breasts.

We were not suggesting that you made a mistake measuring your underbust--we were just questioning how a bra that is labeled 32 can only stretch to 27! I think like me thelittleone wondered if this was a data entry error.

no worries, i was not offended, i was just saying what was going on. :)
i know right! it's tight AND it stretches that far, it's crazy, that's what i meant by i don't get it, lol.

helpfulThis bra (and other Cleos in the same style) all fit me like this too. It's too "closed" on top for me. It's weird, because I always see these bras recommended for shallow shapes, but they definitely don't work for me. Too bad too, because it's a really cute bra.
A Cleo bra that might work better for you is the Maddie (though it's foam-lined.)

yeah the only Cleo that fits me is the Marcie, i've tried all the others i can get my hands on (that are unlined) the lined ones: i fit into the juna and rita nicely, i have the darcy, but the band seems to run large on that one...
thanks for all the suggestions everyone it really helps me out :)

For my tight ribcage I measured 28 (the tightest I could go, but never would do) I'm a perfect 31" but no bras come in that size so I usually aim for a 32.
The band is definitely not a problem, just the cups. I have Cleo Marcie's and they fit great so I have no idea, lol!
