Freya » Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) » 30D 30:4
Ok so im on a mission. After trying various bras I have tried the previously suggested patsy. While I think the band is ok, and the cup width, im not sure about the gore width. I kniw the top if the cups are to open but I dont think this is because they are too big I think its maybe more the cut? Please can anyone offer some advice and other bra suggestions? Oh and when I scoop/swoop the tissue just moves back when I move.

helpfulA true profile pic would help. One which offers a clear view (no arm in the way) of the side of your whole torso--it should be framed so it does not cut off part of the bra at the bottom. If you look at the fit request guidelines you will see a visual example!

Yes, they're up!
To me it looks like mostly a shape issue. In this size the Patsy looks very shallow at the bottom tapering outwards to a rather open shape at the top of the cups. You may need something that is more closed on top (more shaped like an actual breast, in other words). I'm not as familiar with the choices in your size range but perhaps Cleo or Curvy Kate could have some options compatible with your shape.

helpfulI think you may be too FOB for this to work for you, I have that problem with bras being too open at the top, maybe try the Patsy in the other style, the plunge balcony, they tend to work really well for me.

I know this is an old comment, I just wanted to add:
The Freya plunge balconies (such as the Patsy one) have narrower wires than the halfcup styles!
Since the OP already has an issue with the cup width being too narrow, the plunge balconies would not work.I recommend (as always) to check out Libby's list of wide root shallow friendly bras.
Pay special attention to the bras listed at the section that says "a number of women who need even wider wires /shallower cups than the bras listed so far provide" and then lists a few bras starting with the Bravissimo Tanzania Stripe.
http://www.bratabase.com/adventures/entry/2346/If Patsy HC is too narrow-wired on someone, most Cleo bras will problably also be too narrow for them too.

helpfulYou say the wire width is ok and then Cup's width: Outer cup cuts into breast tissue in the sides. Is it a close call or was that a fit mistake?
Also I agree with the other 2 suggestions.Updated on January 3, 2015 Flag this
Sorry dont know why I didnt think of that before posting. The guidelines were helpful thanks. I hope you can now see the added pictures.
