Bra fitting help » Would a size up fit better?
Panache » Andorra Full Cup Bra (5675) » 28GG 28:10
Issue resolved
It fitted better with the extender.
Original problem
I think this bra is slightly too small for me as I thought a full cup bra should cover more of my chest. It's a bit hard to see in the picture but the center gore doesn't lie flat as well. Would a bigger size fit better or does it look fine in this size?

helpfulYou've noted that the band feels too tight, and in the side view it looks as if the wires are being pulled towards your back; are you able to try the bra on with an extender? If the band is very tight, it can distort the fit of the cups and make them feel too small.

helpfulThe fit of this Andorra on your fuller breast looks like mine when I'm a cup size down in it than I should wear (as in, fitting lower on the breast, apex pointing just a touch downward, and would quadboob if it weren't for the stretch lace). I'll bet a 28H in the pearl will work out better (or a 28HH in the black, that cup runs a bit small).

It isn't pointing downward at all. Her apex points straight ahead. Do you mean that the upper plane of the breast is longer than the lower plane? This can happen when someone has lower fullness and not upper fullness, but also from a too-small cup in some bras (I am top-full so a too-small cup in Andorra just gives me crazy quad and obscene cleavage. )

In the 5th photo the horizontal seam of the right cup seems to me to sit a bit lower than the left, as if the cup has more boob to cover than the left one. That's what I was referring to, not a too-small CK shape. That combined with what looks like, to me, a tiny bit of quadding at the right in the 1st photo led me to suggest trying a cup size up. I apologize for any confusion.

Ohh, grezzly , I see now what you mean there about the seam. No need to apologize at all :) Thanks for your comment!

helpfulThe Andorra is called a "full cup" but it is not full coverage. It is more like a balconet in coverage (which is why I love it.)
I think waffleknit is right that having an extender or bigger band will address the quad-boob (which I don't see in the pics.) A too-tight Andorra will quad. A bigger cup size will give you too-wide wires I think.
Are your boobs really close together? Do other bras with high gores always tack? I ask because mine are very close together and some gores just don't tack.

My boobs are actually pretty far apart. I often have problems with gores tacking (they twist to one side) but it seems it be to worse in this bra. The space in between my boobs doesn't have much breast tissue at all and it's pretty bony.

helpfulI was thinking a 30G or 30GG I think Panache runs really small in the bands. I am like 26-27 underbust and I fit better in Panache in the 30 bands.

I don't have a bra extender but I bought one online and it should come in about 3 days.
