Issue resolved
Wrong shape & too big in the band.
Original problem
This bra seems a little big in the cups but I'm not sure. I am a little uneven so more so on one side than the other. The middle seems to lay flat but the back seems to ride up a little? The only other bra I own is so ill fitting I'm not sure where to start. Any ideas on issues with the fit would be much appreciated. (:

helpfulThe cup volume looks good to me, but I can see it wrinkling at the top of the cups. That looks like more of a shape issue than anything. If the band is too big, then the bra might just not be giving any support, so it might be a good shape in a smaller band.
I'm not sure what shape would be best for you, but I have similar measurements to you and wear a 28FF/30F.

If you have the patience and ability you can alter the band down :) Sure, others have pointed out that the shape of the bra isn't completely compatible with the shape of your boobs, and I agree with that, but it's not a horrible shape for you and considering you don't have too many bras that
are supporting you somewhat, doing the alteration can make you feel even a little bit more comfortable :)And oh, disregard everything I said if you just bought it and decide you wanna return it. You don't have to settle for this fit in the meantime if you don't want to, but I know how hard it can be to find a bra that fits.

I did just buy it but that's a good idea, I may keep it for now just because it feels so much better than the bra I have been wearing. I got a pretty good deal on it so I'm not sure if returning it will be worth it. I may try my luck at altering it! Thanks.

Yes, I think the shape looks really good. If you like how it looks with a shirt on go ahead and alter it (if you haven't spent too much). There are some great tutorials on altering the band to make it not look like it's been altered, or you can alter it with the option of taking out the stiches later on to sell it.
If you're interested in looking for more bras that fit, look through the listings here. You can often find bras for cheap and that will help you figure out your real size and shape.
I think some of the shape issues are due to the straps being so far apart here. In a smaller band, the straps should be (some, at least) closer together. So, this bra in a 30E/F might be a great shape for you.

I didn't even notice the strap issue until you pointed out. I will look up some tutorials on altering it though! Thanks (:

helpfulThis cup looks like a decent volume, but you band is too big, and the cup is too deep. This might be too open on top for you, or have too much depth. You might need a shallower cup.

helpfulThe cup volume looks good - you may be able to get ride of the wrinkling on the top on the one side with a nice vigorous swoop and scoop.
