Issue resolved
Thanks guys, you were all really helpful <3
At one point I will give the SM a try again, probably in 28HH (If I don't shrink some more in the meantime).
Original problem
I only fully fill the cups if I breathe in and pull my shoulders back.
Otherwise there is empty space there but they don't really gap severely as I maxed out the strap tightening.
Ewa would not approve
The band fits on the second hook which is great because this one was worn a lot (not my bra, just a rental )
Is this a good shape/fit for me?
Do I size down in the cup?

helpfulTotally not creeper, but I love your boobs.
My $.02 on this, I'm not sure you'll get a good fit. It looks gorgeous on you, I love it for the looks. But it seems like the bra itself is too much for how high set you are. Were you able to wear it enough to see how the underarm fits? It looks like it may be high under the arms for you because you have to hike it up to fit where your breasts sit. Sizing down a cup may help out some, but I think you'll probably still have a problem matching up the cup shape to your high set boobs.

Same here. I ordered an Ewa Michalak S Lolitka and I'm worried about the same thing. I ordered it a cup small hoping to avoid it and give a more booby look. We shall see I guess.
-
Do let us know how that turns out.
I'm still interested in the Ewa Michalak S Szykuś, but I'm worried about getting the sizing all wrong. -
Yay, love my new smaller boobs too :))
What you guys must understand is that I used to carry a JJ cup that high up, so I think I may have permanently lost sensation in the underarm department :D It sounds silly, but I am used to such torture from bras that nothing seems to bug me anymore. Now I feel like i'm suddenly so easy to fit that I have to put up fitting requests to double check, feel like I lost it. Can't be this easy :)
So yeah, this is wearable for me. But I am curious about a cup down.
What size did you guys take? -
I seem to have settled into a 28/60HH in Ewa post nursing. So I ordered the Ewa Michalak Chp Gazeta and Ewa Michalak S Lolitka in 30GG, one cup down from normal. I've read the Gazeta runs tight in the band and a bit big in the cups so I'm hoping for a good fit. With the S bra I wanted to make sure I got a 3 part cup not the 4 part and I have no idea what size the change starts at. I am hoping the narrow wires of the 30GG work because the 28HH is tiny bit too wide. I'm trying to get a collection of comfortable fits, but rotate out my fit issues so I'm not always wearing super wide wires.
I ordered with another blogger and they are on the way from Poland to her now. So hopefully I'll be able to compare for you soon. :)
I may order the Ewa Michalak Sm Malinka because the lace top part. I hope that it is soft enough to stretch around any upper fullness that won't settle into the cups.
(GMLuv you should follow Vee. She has some similar fit issues as we both have. Plus her boobs are gorgeous.)

helpfulIn principle you can take a cupsize down but..
I think a bra with elastic lace on the top would fit you better. Because when i look at the third picture it looks as if the bra is too small near to the central front, as if it is digging the breast tissue.
Because this style does not fit your breast shape, it is a bit small around center front and too big on the top.
So if i were your i would try a bra with semi soft cups (with elastic lace as it would stretch where needed).Updated on November 11, 2013 Flag this

You are right and I am a big stretch lace fan in every aspect :)

helpfulYeah, I'd size down if you really want that bra. Otherwise I'd return it.

Oh it's my friends bra, I just tried it on. I'm a more of an unpadded cup girl, so one day I might consider giving SM a shot again.
Would you say SM in a cup down too? -
Apparently, SM runs larger than S (I have no experience in this, I'd try to find someone who does have experience in that). If you want an SM bra, I'd look 65H or 70GG (depending on how tight the band runs).
-
Hi Vee! :) I tried the S Porcelanka and S Fiolek in the same/sister sizes as the SMs I tried, and they seemed to fit well. It's only the PL in which I've had to size up in the cup. But, I'm FOB and soft, so that might make my sizing pattern a little different than yours. ;-)
With that being said, I think you should really try the SM Trefl. I know you had a bad experience with the SM Bezyk, and I just wanted to let you know that I had the same strange sewing error situation with that bra in 2 different sizes (one too big and one that fits perfectly.) I have the SM Trefl, Bezyk, and Burek, and honestly, the fit of the Trefl is the best -- most rounded shape and the lace seems to "hug" my boobs better than the others.
If you feel this S bra is a smidge big, I'd try the SM in a cup size smaller. I don't have any S bras at the moment to compare, but I do feel the SMs are a tad bit lower under my arms than the PLs (my underarms get lots of abuse as well.)
-
Thank you dear :)
Could you just tell me about the band on trefl?
Becaus the bezyk was very tight.
Oh, and how's that one in the support department?
Because thos one feels way more supportive than bezyk. -
The band on the Trefl is quite a bit stretchier. There really is just something off about the Bezyk compared to the other SMs! As far as support, I've been pretty happy with it. Now, it's not boobs of steel -- I think the gore is just too low for that -- but I was having such problems with high gores beating my boobs black and blue that I'm willing to sacrifice that "steel" feeling for overall comfort. I have made the SM my everyday bra (coming from wearing the super supportive Ariza everyday), and I haven't looked back. I think the S will naturally feel a tad bit more supportive because of the thicker/padded cups, but the overall construction is basically the same. The only thing keeping me from wearing the S bra daily is, like you, I just prefer unpadded for daily wear.
Also, I looked at your pics again -- I'm really afraid you may quadboob in a cup size down. How long did you actually get to wear this bra? I know that I typically fill out my cups better after a couple of hours of wear (especially plunges), so I wonder if you would do the same.

helpfulIn the second photo, your boob seems to "settle" or flow into the cup. You don't look like you have soft tissue, which is why I flow like that, but you might have the kind of structure from chest wall to the firmest part of your boob to make it want to settle/flow into the cup. Two ways I know to counter this: one is to wear something that bring your boob tissue closer to the chest wall (Fantasie Smoothing does this for me, and I delude myself into thinking it does it well*) and the other is to go with the lace upper, as Ayca mentioned and you seem to find works for you. Except for that one I mentioned, I find a much nicer, no-gappy fit in a lace upper bra.
And the way that cup reaches into your armpit makes me cringe in sympathetic pain. I understand why you accept it but that is a deal breaker for me--I don't wear a bra to chafe and be in pain, no matter how good i might look. Life's too short for that.
*could be acting like a minimizer and I ignore that aspect. I wore minimizers for years and now realize how awful they are.

helpfulA 28 HH would have smaller shorter cups. That's why I suggested that. Also because you are on the 2nd hook.

I agree, my first thought when I saw these pictures was that the cups and the underarms look extremely tall.
(Dammit, that means that the S shape won't suit me either!)
Is it comfortable or does it cut into your armpits?
The bra looks really good on though and the color is beautiful.
